5/29: Diary of a Future President (Disney+) renewed for a 10-episode 2nd season.
5/28: Starz will revive the canceled YouTube original Step Up: High Water for a 3rd season.
5/26: Better Things (FX) renewed for a 5th season. The network has also renewed newsmagazine The Weekly for a 2nd season, animated anthology Cake for a 3rd season, and comedy Mr. Inbetween for a 3rd season.
5/26: It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (FXX) renewed for a 15th season, making it the longest-running live-action comedy series in history (by number of seasons).
5/22: What We Do in the Shadows (FX) renewed for a 3rd season.
5/22: Acclaimed but canceled animated Netflix series Tuca & Bertie has been revived by Adult Swim, which will air a new 10-episode 2nd season in 2021.
5/21: Prodigal Son (Fox) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/21: ABC has finally announced renew/cancel decisions on its remaining bubble shows. Newly canceled shows include Bless This Mess, Emergence, Schooled, and Single Parents. But 13 other shows were renewed (find them in the ABC section below). A final decision on Baker and the Beauty and For Life will come at a later date. The network also announced just one new series pickup for 2021-22: the Kyra Sedgwick sitcom Call Your Mother.
5/20: Three Busy Debras (Adult Swim) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/19: Outmatched (Fox) canceled after 1 season.
5/19: Freeform has renewed first-year shows Everything's Gonna Be Okay and Motherland: Fort Salem. But the network revealed that previously renewed titles Good Trouble and grown-ish will not return this summer, and instead will debut their next seasons sometime in 2021.
5/19: Fox has renewed sitcom Last Man Standing for a 9th season and drama The Resident for a 4th season. A decision on remaining bubble shows Outmatched and Prodigal Son will come at a later date, with the latter having a much better chance at renewal than the former.
5/18: Gentefied (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/18: Breeders (FX) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/15: Good Girls (NBC) renewed for a 4th season.
5/15: American Idol (ABC) renewed for a 19th season (which will be its 4th on ABC).
5/15: CBS All Access has ordered Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, a Discovery spinoff centering on the crew of the Enterprise and starring Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, and Rebecca Romijn.
5/14: The Good Fight (CBS All Access) renewed for a 5th season. However, the current 4th season will wrap up early (on May 28), with the network opting not to produce the three unfilmed episodes affected by the current production shutdown.
5/14: The CW revealed that a renew/cancel decision for Katy Keene will come at a later time (as will decisions on adding any additional shows for next season, including potential Arrow and The 100 spinoffs now in development). Production shutdowns will also cause the network to hold back all of its new and returning 2020-21 scripted programming until January at the earliest.
5/13: USA has canceled first-year drama Treadstone and second-year drama The Purge. Expect fewer scripted shows on USA in the future.
5/13: A Little Late With Lilly Singh (NBC) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/12: BET has renewed its first-year Tyler Perry shows The Oval and Sistas.
5/12: The CW has ordered two additional new shows for the 2020-21 season: a female-led reboot of Kung Fu produced by Greg Berlanti, and quirky high school drama The Republic of Sarah. These will join the previously ordered Superman & Lois and Walker, Texas Ranger reboot Walker on the network's schedule next season (though likely not until 2021).
5/12: Room 104 (HBO) is ending with its 4th season, which will launch in July.
5/12: Alternatino With Arturo Castro has been renewed for a 2nd season, but not by Comedy Central. Instead, the show will move to Quibi next season.
5/11: Tell Me a Story (CBS All Access) canceled after 2 seasons. But The CW has acquired both existing seasons and will likely broadcast them once it runs out new programming later this year.
5/11: The CW has also acquired second-run rights to DC Universe original Swamp Thing, Canadian drama Coroner, and UK comedy Dead Pixels. All will be used to compensate for a lack of new CW content caused by coronavirus-related production delays.
5/11: Fox has announced its preliminary 2020-21 lineup and with it orders for just three new shows: the Mayim Bialik comedy Call Me Kat and animated series The Great North and Housebroken (with all three held back until 2021). However, two new shows previously ordered for the current 2019-20 season, Filthy Rich and neXt, will now debut in the fall alongside new seasons of all of Fox's animated shows and several reality shows. In addition, Fox will air the first season of L.A.'s Finest, which was previously available to Spectrum cable customers. Along with the announcements comes an official 11th season renewal for Bob's Burgers. Fox shows that have not been renewed include LEGO Masters, Last Man Standing, Outmatched, Prodigal Son, and The Resident; it is unclear if any of these will return (they haven't explicitly been canceled, but the omissions can't be a good sign).
5/11: Dave (FXX) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/8: Upload (Prime Video) renewed for a 2nd season.
5/8: CBS has ordered just 3 new shows for the 2020-21 season (so far): a reboot of The Equalizer starring Queen Latifah, a Silence of the Lambs sequel called Clarice, and the Chuck Lorre sitcom B Positive (which was the only pilot to complete filming for any network this spring).
5/7: History has canceled its scripted dramas Knightfall and Project Blue Book after 2 seasons.
5/6: The Masked Singer (Fox) renewed for a 4th season, which could air this fall.
5/6: CBS has announced renew/cancel decisions ahead of its nontraditional digital upfront presentation on May 19. Every current CBS series will return next season with the exception of Broke, Carol's Second Act, and Tommy, which were all canceled after 1 season, and Man With a Plan, canceled after 4 seasons..
5/6: After Life (Netflix) renewed for a 3rd season.
5/3: Greenleaf (OWN) will end with this summer's 5th season.
5/2: CBS has opted to cancel its previous series order of The Lincoln Lawyer, an adaptation of the Michael Connelly novel from David E. Kelley that was slated for the 2020-21 season.
5/1: Insecure (HBO) renewed for a 5th season.
4/30: Dare Me (USA) canceled after 1 season.
4/30: My Brilliant Friend (HBO) renewed for a 3rd season.
4/28: Queen Sono (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season.
4/27: Turn Up Charlie (Netflix) canceled after 1 season.
4/26: When Calls the Heart (Hallmark) renewed for an 8th season.
4/22: Westworld (HBO) renewed for a 4th season.
4/21: There's no official renewal yet, but a 3rd season of The Mandalorian (Disney+) is reportedly in pre-production. The series was previously renewed for a 2nd season, to air later this year (theoretically).
4/17: Party of Five (Freeform) canceled after 1 season.
4/14: God Friended Me (CBS) canceled after 2 seasons. The series will end with a two-hour finale on April 26.
4/13: Fox has renewed 9-1-1 as well as its new spinoff 9-1-1: Lone Star.
4/6: Duncanville (Fox) renewed for a 2nd season.
4/3: Deputy (Fox) canceled after 1 season.
4/3: Lights Out With David Spade has been canceled by its current network, Comedy Central, while on hiatus in the middle of its first season. But the show is now being shopped to other outlets.
3/31: Shrill (Hulu) renewed for an 8-episode 3rd season.
3/30: Netflix has canceled first-year shows October Faction and V-Wars.
3/30: Lock & Key (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season.
3/27: Castlevania (Netflix) renewed for a 4th season.

3/24: Netflix has renewed several of its unscripted shows, including The Circle (2 additional seasons), Love Is Blind (2 additional seasons), and Rhythm + Flow. In addition, Marie Kondo will get another season of her show, though under a different title (Sparking Joy) and slightly different format.
3/18: Vida (Starz) will end with its upcoming 3rd season, which debuts on April 26.

2/27: NBC has renewed all three of its Chicago shows for three more seasons apiece.
2/26: Netflix has ordered a second season of its Top Boy revival.

1/31: The Crown (Netflix) will end with its 5th season, which will find Imelda Staunton playing Queen Elizabeth II. Before that, a 4th season (again starring Olivia Colman) should air this year.
1/30: Perpetual Grace, LTD (Epix) has been canceled after 1 season, but the network will wrap up the story with a short miniseries (date tbd).
1/24: Hulu has canceled two of its upcoming Marvel animated series projects, Howard the Duck and Tigra & Dazzler. A third (M.O.D.O.K.) is actually in production and should air next season, and a fourth (Hit-Monkey) theoretically remains alive. (The Offenders, a miniseries designed to combine characters from all four, now also seems unlikely to move forward.)

1/12: Fox will pull Almost Family and Flirty Dancing from its schedule after their January 15 episodes, suggesting that neither show will return for a 2nd season. (Their final unaired episodes will be burned off on Saturday, February 22 and Saturday, January 25, respectively.)

1/7: The CW has renewed virtually every show in its current lineup. All American, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Charmed, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, The Flash, In the Dark, Legacies, Nancy Drew, Riverdale, Roswell New Mexico, and Supergirl will all return in 2020-21. (The yet-to-premiere Katy Keene was not among the renewals, but the network ordered 13 additional scripts, which is a positive sign.)

10/30: Creepshow (Shudder) renewed for a 2nd season.
10/29: Lodge 49 (AMC) canceled after 2 seasons. Producers are attempting to find a new network for the show.
10/29: HBO will not move forward with a planned Game of Thrones prequel series that was to star Naomi Watts. A second GoT prequel series (based on the book Fire & Blood) is still in contention, for now. UPDATE 5pm: HBO has indeed given a 10-episode order to the other prequel series, to be titled House of the Dragon. It will center on the House Targaryen, and Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condal will be the showrunners. No cast or launch date has been announced.
10/29: Another Life (Netflix) renewed for a 2nd season.
10/28: ABC has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows mixed-ish and Stumptown and sophomore drama The Rookie, though exact episode counts haven't been announced. The network's other newcomer, Emergence, was designed to run for just 13 episodes this season so will not get an expansion (but will still be considered for a renewal at a later date).
10/25: The CW has given full-season pickups to its new fall shows Batwoman and Nancy Drew. Both will now have full 22-episode seasons.
10/24: Modern Love (Prime Video) renewed for a 2nd season.
10/24: Marvel's Cloak & Dagger (Freeform) canceled after 2 seasons.
10/24: gen:LOCK (Rooster Teeth) renewed for a 2nd season, which will move to the new HBO Max streaming service. (Rooster Teeth First subscribers will get the new episodes after a three-month delay.)
10/23: The beloved animated series Adventure Time has been revived by HBO Max, which will air a series of four hour-long specials in 2020.
10/22: CBS has given full-season pickups to four freshman shows: All Rise, Bob ♥ Abishola, Carol's Second Act, and The Unicorn.
10/22: Evil (CBS) renewed for a 2nd season (though the 1st season will not be extended beyond its original 13-episode order).
10/18: High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (Disney+) renewed for a 2nd season ahead if its series premiere next month.
10/18: Bless the Harts (Fox) renewed for a 2nd season. It is the first new fall show to earn a renewal.
10/18: Bluff City Law (NBC) will end its debut season with its 10th episode, despite a previous order of 6 additional scripts. While the show has technically not been canceled, a second season seems extremely unlikely.
10/17: The Late Show With Stephen Colbert (CBS) extended by 3 years, taking the show though August 2023.
10/16: Pandora (CW) renewed for a 2nd season.
10/16: Why Women Kill (CBS All Access) renewed for a 2nd season as an anthology series (i.e., it will feature an all-new set of characters).
10/15: Sunnyside (NBC) canceled after 3 episodes, becoming the first cancellation of the fall season. One more episode will air this week, and the remaining seven episodes will be made available online (on a weekly basis). Will and Grace will take over the Thursday 9:30p timeslot beginning October 24.
10/15: Apple TV+ has revealed 2nd-season renewals for Dickinson, For All Mankind, Home Before Dark, Little America, and See and has confirmed a previously announced renewal for The Morning Show well ahead of any of those shows' premiere dates. The streaming service will launch in November.
10/15: The Outpost (CW) renewed for a 3rd season.
10/10: Holey Moley (ABC) renewed for a 2nd season.
10/8: CW has extended the 2nd season of All American by 3 episodes to a total of 16.
