If you are looking for a quality 2D adventure, and enjoy being a completionist, Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash should be on your radar. Chibi whips it, and he whips it good!

Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash is a solid little platformer that entertains despite faltering at times. It’s cute, it’s charming, and it offers some nice little twists on the 2D action/grappling formula that make it stand out.

I mean that on two levels, as it's a solid action platformer, but it also has a lot of untapped potential that players may be disappointed to discover by the time they're through.

Chibi-Robo! Zip Lash is not the best Chibi-Robo - it is not even that great of a 2D side-scroller or platformer, either.

Sadly, Chibi-Robo fails to deliver a good platforming game, relying on uninspired levels and forgettable action.

For every promising moment--which are few and far between--there's a commercial for candy, or a series of mini-tasks and menus that drag you back down. Chibi-Robo is a sleepy trip through a forgettable world. Plead with it to go faster, beg it to surprise you with new experiences, but don't be surprised when it answers back with the merits of biting into the center of a Tootsie Pop.

I love this game, and it's easily the 2nd or 3rd best game I've played in 2015. I see that so many people seem to only site the vehicle stages and the destination wheel as the only bad things about this game. First off, the vehicle stages are fine. They're all fun breaks from the regular gameplay and it add more variety. Second, the destination wheel is not that bad. It's super easy to get the number you want, and you can simply get 1 (the most common number on the wheel) each time to do each level in order. If you REALLY need to buy more panels, they are not that expensive and money is very easy to get in this game. If you play this game, expect a decent challenge if you don't go for 100%, and a good, yet fair challenge if you go for 100%. Also, the in game snacks are fun. I don't get why people don't like them. I loved seeing Toby talk about stuff I've had before but explaining them in a very cute and lighthearted manner. It was fun! This whole game is just presented in a happy and fun way. I highly recommend to Chibi-Robo fans, and people who like more unique 2-D platformers. Expand

I pre-ordered the bundle from GameStop once I realized how the Amiibo would be pretty crucial (if you didn't get the bundle...well, the gameplay's still pretty sweet). Seeing as though he's my first Amiibo, I'm pretty attached already lol
Game is pretty smooth, though some levels will have you wanting to chuck your system out the nearest window (plz don't) lol
Chibi himself provides plenty of amusement as far as his reactions.
I'm not seeing any of the problems that low-rating critics are giving, but hey, to each their own.
The only problems that I have are: ridiculous level choosing and levels that, unless you watch gameplays of them, will cause you no end of grief in trying to make sure that you 100% them.

It was brand new and at the time I didn't watch any reviews so I expected this game to be good or at least decent. I got bored on the First Level and stop playing it and put it on my shelf. It was a bland and flavorless game. The controls were boring, the stages were lazy and lazy looking like they were created in a level creator app. The music was okay. Going around levels you have to spin a wheel, the levels are easy but go way to slow. You need to play the game for hours and have the amiibo to beat the game in total because you need to get like millions of coins. This game is just god awful.

During Quarantine, I recently beat this game taking me hours and hours trying to get the real ending. It was just a boring mess. This game is god awful. It's one of my least favorite games of all time and I'm sad I actually played this game. Please don't play this game. It's bad and you won't like it. Something, though that is good is that this game is super cheap and you can now get the amiibo bundle for like 8 bucks.

Other things that are in this game are snacks, extra bonuses, you get 3 special coins per level and you collect 3 chibi-tots. You can get trophies in a machine that you need an amiibo to use. It has 6 worlds all that are boring. I KNOW THAT I DIDN'T TELL YOU THE STORY OR THAT MUCH BUT I JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT IT'S BORING AND A USELESS GAME.
