Disney Magical World 2 on the 3DS is truly a magical and fun experience on this portable console and offers some fun replay value and one of the best supporting casts in a game!

There is no greater thrill than interacting with the characters from some of Disney's greatest properties, and assisting them in defeating the evil ghosts is an enticing prospect.

An impressive amount of content, a great cast, and a significant number of hours that are undoubtedly about to be expended by its players make up a solid new title, likely to help ensure the 3DS's legacy stays strong as it ages gracefully.

Disney Magical World 2 suffers from similar issues to the first game. The opening moments are a slow affair, while the technical issues are disappointing in more ways than one. That being said, I still ended up embracing what the game delivered. There are a solid amount of missions on offer with tons of variety on display.

    I didn't expect to enjoy Disney Magical World 2 as much as I did. [Issue #25 – January/February 2017, p.72]

Disney Magical World 2 feels like an intro class into video gaming. There's a little bit of everything here, all of it aimed at younger, inexperienced gamers. For an old crust like me, it's easy to point out its flaws with the frame rate, inventory management, excess of load screens, and simplicity, but I don't think that will matter to younger players. And after helping plan a most wonderful party for the residents of the Hundred Acre Wood, it really didn't matter to me either.

Beautiful and colorful game for small children, which looks like the “Sims Disney” ... but only if those children can speak English well. [Issue #270]

Despite the fact that I was looking for an open game (an alternative to Animal Crossing in fact) I actually enjoyed the game less after it 'opened up'. It still felt very restrictive to me. Rather than feeling like a living, breathing world, it instead felt like a variety of mini-games dressed up as Disney characters. Most disappointingly, I never felt like I was having any kind of impact on the world; I'm sure if I load the game back up in a year's time, nothing will have changed. I doubt any of the characters will even remark on my prolonged absence. Expand
