Picross e2 brings another sleeve of compelling nanograms on your 3DS at an affordable price. A perfect fit for keeping your head busy during otherwise boring trip to/from work/school.

Picross e2 is yet another fun Picross game, but for the most part it simply feels like an expansion pack for the previous title. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that, especially when the core gameplay is so entertaining.

Picross E2 is a "extention pack" of Picross E: a new series of diagrams to be completed in the empty moments of the day.

Picross e2 is another example why Picross is such an addictive series. While it's not the outstanding highlight of this 18 year-old series, it remains a brilliant budget option for those curious about its cult following.

Picross e2 is an excellent adaption of the addictive nonogram puzzles to the 3DS format. It barely offers anything new though, and lacks innovations like the awesome Picross 3D did offer some years ago. But it’s still one of the smoothest and best ways to solve picross puzzles, and at that very low price point it’s a no-brainer to buy for anyone who has ever enjoyed a griddler.

Relaxing puzzles with the necessary imbued challenge. That's Picross e2. More of an expansion than a whole new game, although Micross-mode is a nice addition. The presentation is pretty bland though, and we can't even begin to imagine why the 3D capabilities weren't put to good use here.

You'd be forgiven for mistaking Picross e2 for the original, so similar do they look. Here's hoping for something new in the next instalment

Overall they're very easy and there aren't nearly enough of them, but they add an element to the game that "e" was missing.

This is still a meager presentation, unfortunately, and the puzzles seem to be getting less clever. There's been just a few too many where you basically fill the box in with a couple of spots missing and are asked to really stretch to see what the object could be. We're also starting to see repeats in this one, which is also unfortunate. Still no little reward animations or games, so while I have enjoyed this one a bit, I still recommend just picking up one of the old Picross cartridges instead of downloading this if you're new to the series.
