At the end of the day, whether you’re taking a nostalgia trip back in time to revisit this classic or if you find yourself in Historia for the first time, it’s definitely worth playing.

Whether or not Radiant Historia needed a re-release, and even if the new story content is a bit superfluous, the core of the game is as wonderful as it was before. Several quality-of-life tweaks simply make a good game better, and whether you're playing for the first time or just want to revisit a favorite, Perfect Chronology is worth picking up.

This new edition of Radiant Historia is more of an enhanced one than a proper remake. But it comes with significant additions that bring about a perfect opportunity to rescue a game that clearly deserved more attention.

Many remakes and remasters fall short of reaching the success of their predecessors, but Perfect Chronology is not one of those. While the new content is mostly optional and the aesthetics virtually identical, the experience of the first Radiant Historia is preserved the way it should be, with the gameplay tweaks benefiting the overall experience.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology offers a staggering amount of content for the price — there are nearly 300 different events to see, and the campaign can finish with dozens of possible endings. Patient RPG fans looking for intriguing story hooks and puzzle-like battle mechanics would do well to try it. Those looking to simply enjoy the narrative without being punished can also dip into Friendly mode and enjoy the experience as well.

The new difficulty options, bonus dungeon, voice acting, and new character portraits feel peripheral to a game that remains largely intact.

This game is stunning- the story is breathtaking and it reminds me of Chrono Trigger with amazing story and cast of characters. if you like Time-Travel and if you like Chrono Trigger and old RPG classic stuff this is not to be missed. If you haven't played the original then definitely pick this up because what you are getting is absolutely worth the price! If you enjoy Fire Emblem or RPG games this is just amazing!

There is only one drawback on this game - no 3D.. So if you love playing games in 3D this game is unable to do that.

Atlus has done it again! With the SMT, Persona, Demon Souls, Dragon Crown and now this! Atlus is the new Square Enix! Enjoy the story and adventure because this is definitely 9.5 -10!! .

Atlas are very hit and miss for me. From the amazing Catherine, to the amazingly overated let down that is Persona 5.

I got the demo simply because I recognised the title. I saw Atlas and thought oh no, another J borefest. I really loved everything I saw and found the battle system very enjoyable. It looks and sounds fantastic. I think the DS version looks a bit better though. The DS portraits look a lot better.

I wish people would stop rating games beard on their opinion of the company though. Not liking a companies practices does not make the game bad.

This is one of those games that you must have in the system if you are a JRPG fan.
The storytelling of the game is brilliant, with plot twists, well-constructed characters and a never-easy-to-do-well time travels that allow you to have a great time. The battle system is simple but deep enough to make good strategies and the voice acting is incredibly good.

It's in my top 10 JRPG's of all time

Never played the original, this is a fairly Solid JRPG from all I have played so far.
The story is tight and captivating, the game does not rely too much on classic cliche, and the battle system is simple but with enough depth to play around.

The time travel system is easy to grasp and become second nature pretty quickly even if I have to say you can get a bit lost trying to found out exactly the quest you want, or looking back for certain thing.
The difficulty is on the lower side for Atlus title so don't hesitate to play on hard or maybe deadly.

    +Music is good
+Story is captivating, despite being political fiction non-stop.
    +Character are likable
+battle system is easy to grasp

    -Rather short for JRPG
-poor environment, low effort graphic for a remaster.
-Repetitive area, you won't explore a lot of new places

I would not say this is an underrated gem, but it's a good JRPG.
