    Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse provides more of the series' addictive combination of exploring, demon-collecting and fast-paced battling, all while continuing the delightfully warped narrative of its predecessor. This is pure JRPG bliss.

    While I think Apocalypse is much better than its predecessor, a part of me wishes more had been done to make this game feel a bit more fresh.

    Sort of a weird game in that it is both undeniably great and a little bit disappointing at the same time. It is a poor spot to jump into for newbies and yet returning veterans might be a disappointed by how much the game repeats itself.

It follows the same structure from the SMTIV but its a lot better. The history is fantastic, the anime style graphics are also amazing so are the voices. I truly recommend this that can be a new great RPG from 3DS.
    Pt.: Estou com 5 ou 6 horas de jogo e o mesmo é muito viciante. Desde que comecei a jogar, não consigo mais parar. A história é envolvente, a dublagem está ótima, os gráficos estilo anime também são ótimos. Recomendo fortemente o mesmo por ser um dos melhores RPGs para o 3DS.    … Expand

    SMT IV APOCALYPSE takes place in the middle of the game before fighting lucifer and merkabah . You play a new character who became a godslayer of dagda . So what makes a good squeal to SMT IV . Well in this one its easy to navigate in Tokyo if you needed some help to reach the new mission . Money is alot easy to get . Magic in this is OP as hell . if you love the persona 5 dub this game pretty much everyone who vice in this game is in Persona 5 .The dub is fine in this game but it can be tiring at times . One of thing in this goes for friends is my power but make still but it felt like some bad RPG game . In every SMT game you can have a choose to what ending you want . Law chaos and neutral . This one has two rt peace and anarchy rt but the problem is for what everyone choose you make in the game they give both no matter what . That kinda takes it away if you act like a hole but you still get a peace rt . There are lot flaws didnt help the game . But its still kinda to play and beat gods like a boss .If you still own a 3ds and you like the P5 dub i can see you will have a good time .… Expand

    The writing is absolutely terrible, the gameplay is an improvement, but the narrative is just flat out stupid. Apocalypse basically goes outThe writing is absolutely terrible, the gameplay is an improvement, but the narrative is just flat out stupid. Apocalypse basically goes out of its way to push along with a Firnedship is Magic narrative while also pretending to give players choices that mean anything. Any time you take the 'mean guy' choice because a character is just being annoying or whatever, the dialogue flow stutters for only a second before it goes to acting like what just happened did not in fact happen. You can be completely mean the entire game and everybody will be surprised in the end when you pick Dagda's ending. The dungeons are okay, lots of boring rehashes of locations in SMTIV, and the last dungeon will make you curse the game for not having a way of knowing where warps will take you.

    All in all I don't think it's that great of an experience. The gameplay is only a bit better than SMTIV, and the story is a *lot* worse. Worse, I think, is if you played the two games in succession then SMTIVA would confuse you with retcons and changes while also boring you with the same dungeons and locations.    … Expand
