Tappingo is a nifty puzzle game, which looks at various concepts and mixes them to a perfect shape.
Tappingo’s gameplay doesn’t disappoint and offers hours of content, making it an excellent addition to the 3DS eShop library.
Tappingo does its role and does it well. This Picross-inspired puzzle game is simple enough to understand quickly and to grab the player's attention for some time. It does feel a bit stripped, though, looking at the lack of contents beyond its main experience, with a complete absence of extras and additional modes.
While a few extra puzzle elements could have been employed, as well as a bit of customization with music and some multiplayer options, Tappingo’s price tag makes it easy to recommend to anyone who thinks they’d enjoy its brand of pixel puzzling.
You can’t knock the simple charm of Tappingo too much – it is still a cheerful and breezy little number, and some of the pictures will genuinely make you smile (one of them depicts a much-loved Ninty console of yore). Just don’t expect oodles of options, and be prepared for the controls to cause you some degree of annoyance.
With no multiplayer options and simple aesthetics, Tappingo satisfies for short periods of time, ideal for playing in brief intervals.
Tappingo is a semi-clever idea held back by its lack of ambition and amateurish presentation.

Summary Tappingo is a new puzzle game in which you create small pictures by solving puzzles. Your goal is to solve each puzzle picture by making all the numbered blocks extend into lines of the correct length. The number on each block indicates exactly how long the line needs to be. The game keeps track of the time taken to solve each puzzle....
