  1. A perfect, smooth version of a great fighting game, and not much else.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition it's perfect to play against your friends with wireless connection but it lacks about single player modes.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition is graphically impressive and provides a lot of fun due to its huge roster. The main problem is its lack of modes and the crazy lag during the online matches. You should buy it if you love this franchise and if you are planning to play it with a friend.

Technical achievements set Tekken 3D Prime apart from other 3DS games in the genre. Visuals aside, it fails to meet expectations.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition has everything needed for a great Tekken game except content. And that ultimately makes it boring to play in the long run.

Sixty frames per second in 3D is indeed a marvelous technical achievement and Tekken 3D: Prime Edition deserves praise for reaching that goal. It's just too bad the game never bothered with building a deck around its ace.

So, what do you get for your money? Beyond standard fighting or five, 10 and (ultimately) 20 fighter survival modes, not very much at all...Clearly there are enough Tekken fans out there to justify the conversion but it all simply boils down to pixels slapping pixels and that gets very boring, very quickly.

Very nice graphics and frame rate, huge choice of contestants and still the same perfect fighting formula of Tekken. I can't rate the multiplayer as I still have to test it, but I guess fighting online will be awesome. My only concern is the lack of modes and the lack or video replays. If you love Tekken, you wont be disappointed with this title. Expand

Es una buena opción a los juegos de pelea si cuentas con una 3ds. Pero es preferible Tekken 6 para psp por tener mejores escenarios. No Arcade mode in a 2D fighting game is like a KFC that doesnt sell chicken.
The game is only saved by its gameplay and graphics
The gameplay is great and so is the graphics

But NAMCO seems to be making a conversion with the least amount of effort. Soul Calibur V is a great fighter but with minimal amount of extras. Tekken 3-D feels like a 'lazy conversion', with the TEKKEN animated movie (which is of average quality) included. If you want Tekken on the go, then get this game. Casual fans, beware. Expand

Instead you get Quick Battle mode and absolutely no CG cut scenes that made the Tekken series shine. The graphics are really sharp and the 3d does work well for this game. I give it a five due to the fact that there is not much of a single player experience here. Expand

However, there is MANY things that hold it backFirst, let me say this game has great gameplay tthat rivals that of the console editions. However, there is MANY things that hold it back drastically. First, the game lacks polish and the bottom screen seems very... bare and the graphics are ok, but aren't up to standard of Street Fighter 3d of Dead Or Alive Dimensions. There is a lack of modes, and there isn't even a regular vs mode OR training mode. Also, the "Cards" given for winning battles are boring and serve absolutely no point. Finally, online play sucks due to constant lag. Beware this game, I might not even recommend rent. Expand
