If you have a PS4, Xbox One, or PC, you should really give Apex Legends a try. It’s managed to hit the ground running, with very little in the way of server issues or other hiccups after the first week. It’s clear Respawn has plans to support the title in the long-term, and the six Legends characters available from the start (with two more unlockable via in-game currency) provide enough variety to begin with. This will be the Battle Royale title I stick with for the immediate future, and I’m excited to see this game evolve over time.
There are many free to play Battle Royale games out there that are vying for your attention, but Apex Legends takes the genre to new heights with its superb gunplay, Moreish game loop and a superb communication mechanic.
Apex Legends is one of the more entertaining, beautifully balanced, and gorgeous games in the Battle Royale genre. The fact that it is free is delightful, and a good move by Respawn Entertainment. I hope they continue this trend with future updates. I may yet stay in this genre for a while because of this game.
Apex Legends is a mix of smart shooter ideas that makes for a competitive, team-based game that gets at all the best parts of battle royale while addressing a lot of the weaknesses. Respawn's intense focus on team play makes Apex more than just a worthy addition to the genre; it's an indicator of where battle royale should go in the future.

Though its Season One rollout has been disappointing content-wise and its visual flair remains bland, Apex Legends still has the solid foundation necessary for a free-to-play shooter to survive in the long run. And with 50 million players reached in its first month, it's not like it's slowing down anytime soon. We're all jumpmasters now.
Like any free to play game it is hampered by bugs and server issues however it is the best BR game or best free to play game or currently the best fps game to date. This game truly defined the multiplayer fps experience.
The devs constantly tamper with the match making so sometimes the game is fun and sometimes the game is punishingly sweaty. The maps get worse every time they update them and every new character is more annoying than the last, the roster is far to big, time to start killing some off. Only giving it a good score because of the good movement and gameplay mechanics.
