We're so disappointed! Not at all what we expected. Painfully redundant. Virtually the same courses over and over again. Even Farnam's now antiquated "3-day eventing" game incorporated ways to extend play with dressage and cross country events and horse care. The graphics and sounds of this game are pretty cool, comparatively speaking. But that only goes so far. After just a few We're so disappointed! Not at all what we expected. Painfully redundant. The graphics and sounds of this game are pretty cool, comparatively speaking. But that only goes so far. After just a few plays, it becomes very boring. In addition, it drove us nuts that it adds "penalties" for failing to jump in the middle of the jump in the jumper classes. Faiilng to jump in the middle has no bearing on a jumper class. Jumping is about sailing over your fences at top speed from whatever angle shortens the distance, without knocking down a rail. If they're going to try to sell a game to horse people, they need to get a horse person involved in the design. Two thumbs down. Expand

The developers in charge of the DS version must have not cared enough about the game to spend some time fixing the major problems. Even if this game is targeted towards young girls, they deserve better than this.
  2. My Horse & Me is a well produced family oriented game that focuses on the fun of owning a horse. Spending time with your virtual horse is stress free, simple to learn and most importantly, fun.
  3. This game is only worth it if you want to get your daughter to stop begging for a pony. Once she plays this, she'll never ask for a horse again.
