    The lack of a grid is probably the biggest pull-down for this game; if it had been a bit more structured, it could have really been great. But that problem doesn't negate all the good things about this game. It's still addictive, and it's still fun. Squad Command may not be the best strategy game out there, but it's by no means the worst.

    In the end, it is blatantly obvious that this game was initially designed for the PSP and ported over to the DS in an effort to capitalize on Nintendo's massive market share.

    Poor manual! Nice graphics for DS... No grid and unable to rotate camera but a lot of fun. Replay: maybe.

    For some reason, I just didn't enjoy Squad Command on the DS as much a did on PSP. Interface is good overall, but don't use the stylus or you'll occasionally make accidental movements when switching units. Make no mistake, this is not WH40k X-Com. If you want a better game of the same exact style, find the old Chaos Gate for the PC.… Expand
