A surprisingly deep fighter. Occasionally the fast combat can degenerate into button mashing, but the strategic elements are there if you can keep your wits about you.

It’s a fun and addictive game with great gameplay, controls are fluent and smooth, voice acting is really good, and he’s on par with the anime, the game has a certain charm to it. It’s basically a bunch of what if scenarios where for example, if you want Krillin to save the day instead of Goku, then you can do that in supersonic warriors, the only two negative things I can say about this game are later on it does become relentlessly hard and there’s no save function so you can’t continue where you left off, other than that the game is very fun and I recommend you pick it up and play it if and when you get a chance.
8.9/10.
If you’re on the fence about pulling the trigger on buying this game, do it you won’t regret it, trust me you’ll have a lot of fun

Atari set out to make amends for the debacle that was Taiketsu, and I feel that it came through quite nicely. There are some rough edges in the game, but if you can forgive the fighting system for its lack of depth, there will be plenty for you to like about this game.
Dragon Ball Z fans that are loyal to the television show and had a hard time believing what they were playing in "Taiketsu" should be overjoyed with Supersonic Warriors.
The fighting mechanics aren't quite as ironed out as expected and don't quite match up with the energetic front end, but overall Atari has brought out a decent game that better captures the Dragon Ball Z flavor than previous titles in the series have on the GBA handheld.
The continuous button mashing that infuses the famous yet most curious aerial acrobatics that those crazy DBZ fighters perform gives you pretty much everything you need to simulate the Saiyan art of combat.
No challenge and no depth does not make for a good game.

Fast paced fighting style and violent combos right in the air may attract DBZ maniacs ( of course, me included ) . The only problems visible is, how short and lacking of content Super Sonic Warriors is.

While this game is mindless fun and action packed, the cast of playable characters lacks very many interesting picks, mostly just your average Super Saiyans and villains, and the only Earthling is Krillin unfortunately.
These might seem like personal gripes, but as a DBZ fan, I'm rather disappointed by the lackluster lineup, so others might be too. Beware of that if you want to get this game.
Another major gripe I have, and this one being completely objective, is the severe lack of content in this game. All there is to this game is constant fight after fight, even in the story mode.
Not gonna go in-depth here, but you can see should you decide to play this for yourself.
Overall, nice mindless fun, but not worth sinking a lot of time into. If you want a truly great Dragon Ball game for the GBA, check out Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure.
