  • Summary: The High Heat Major League Baseball series is aging fast, but the 2003 GBA iteration--largely due to its two-player mode--is still a decent baseball game.

Surprisingly realistic for a hand-held video game. [Summer 2002, p.34]
  2. Nintendo Power

Exciting, fun, and unpredictable. [May 2002, p.142]

As far as handheld baseball games go, this one is probably the best I've seen. [Apr 2002, p.89]
  4. Other than the obligatory roster update and the inclusion of a link mode, you'd be hard-pressed to notice further improvements.

HH 2003 isn't a particularly awful game, but rather it's a bit dull and unrefined. It should have had a lot more conditioning before being released for the public.

The game doesn't play all that bad...it's just very stale, it still doesn't have a huge list of features, and just can't match the excellence that Sega created in its "Baseball Advance."
