There are problems with the game's length and with the iffy AI, but a lot of that is offset by how well the game's many elements are balanced and by its nifty graphics.
-
Nintendo PowerLoaded with high-octane action and adrenaline-soaked thrills. [Oct 2002, p.198]
-
A very routine, somewhat unimaginative game design, with very little innovation in its gameplay and slight absence of a true gaming challenge.
-
XXX isn't without its charms, although they might best be appreciated in a quick two-days borrow from a cash happy friend.
-
Like so many other motion picture adaptations, the game lacks the special effects and dialogue that make the film entertaining.
-
One major flaw in the games level design, is how not one of the levels seems to have anything to do with the movie.
-
A shoddy piece of license work with flashes of potential (which the film has in bundles) but too much is gaming by numbers, and overall it leaves you cold.
