The over-theshoulder style does allow for the seamless integration of glossy scenes to drive on the plot and add a more genuine movie-like feel to the game.
This is one of the best Action Adventure games ever, since Indiana Jones and The Emperor’s Tomb with shoot out and hand to hand combat system. This game is a must play for Bond fans.
I Love this game! It's the best James Bond game ever (Yes, even better than Goldeneye) Its also one of my favourite games and it has an excellent campaign and co-op mode!
Does a great job of blending elements of action, stealth, and driving to create one of the greatest Bond game ever, just after the all-time classic, Goldeneye. Everything or Nothing starts players off with a kick in the ass and doesn’t let up until the credits roll.
The gameplay kept me interested and made me want to continue the story line. It is almost a total package type of game, I If you like “stealth action” type thinking games.
It's perhaps because the title benefits from such a high production spend … that the average design and execution becomes more pronounced. [Mar 2004, p.101]
Whats with all the hate for this game?! I Think its brilliant, especially the co-op **** single player campaign is the best out off all of the games, and th superb voice acting adds even more,
EoN is arguably the second best Bond game ever made. It's not a masterpiece like "Goldeneye", but it's still terrific. "Everything" combines a movie-like presentation with a wide variety of levels and challenges. Depending on the mission, you'll use weapons, stealth tactics, gadgets or vehicles to accomplish goals. The targeting system works well as you can easily lock on targets or manually aim. Along with the story mode, the game also includes co-op and competitive modes that you can play locally. Overall, this is a slick action title that will appeal to fans of "Metal Gear Solid" and "Splinter Cell". Overall, I would rate it with an 8.5 out of 10.
Everything or Nothing is one of those mixed bag games. There's a lot to love about it & a lot to hate also. The game plays differently to previous 007 games and EA have chosen to go with a 3rd person perspective instead. this is where the game fails, I'm a big fan of 3rd person shooters and prefer it over 1st person a lot of the time. This is not one of those times.
The shooting sections are where my biggest issues are, the shooting is all done by locking on with left trigger, no manual targeting here, just lock on & shoot. this gets old really quick and you find yourself just running & gunningto the end. This negates any need for any of the gadgets and that just feels wasted to me.
The driving sections however are still as awesome as before. full of action & set pieces to rival the films perfectly. albeit a bit clunky to ride, the motorbike sections are some of the best bits in the game and need to be experienced.
another big issue is the length of the game, there are 27 missions in all and it feels a bit too long. they're varied enough to keep you playing, but I struggled with some of the shooting levels because they're just so boring.
This isn't a bad game overall, and if you can find it cheap enough it's worth a purchase, It's just that there are better Bond games out there. Back in 2003 I remember this game being amazing, but sadly it's not aged well in places and I feel my nostalgia goggles might have fallen off for this one.
