I can't say enough about the pitch detector. It's one of the most incredible tools available for potential musicians, and I don't say that lightly.
There’s simply no way to please everyone when it comes to a song list, but damned if Harmonix and Konami didn’t try.
New features improve on the game and while I wish there were more varied songs offered from the start, this is probably the best Karaoke Revolution game to date.
It’s certainly nice to have a real focus on multiplayer this time around—especially since that’s when the game will see the most use, anyway—but the loss of the campaign mode is a real downer.
All in all, Karaoke Revolution Party is a dish best served up with a bunch of friends, a case of beer and a lack of inhibitions.
First, I had a problem actually singing and performing the songs well, and second, I managed to cheat my way through most of the songs by humming really loudly.
Dancing and singing simply takes too much coordination, and the steps aren't timed well enough with the music to make them feel as natural as they should've.
