The angles are fabulous -- never staying in one place too long while framing the action with cinematic flair. [Nov 2003, p.91]
  2. The license alone saves the effort from mediocrity.
  3. TMNT doesn't wear its nostalgic aspects particularly well, and the remaining components simply don't make for a very entertaining experience.
  4. Decent, but it comes up short of ideal in just about every conceivable area.

Colorful graphics and sharp control make the game fun to watch and play, but the old-school punch-and-kick action gets monotonous. [Dec 2003, p.146]

It is not that the game doesn't have its fun moments, because it can be that, it is just that they are very short-lived and don't really go any further than the first level. Disappointing.
  7. 40
While the basic gameplay engine is solid enough, TMNT forgets that less is sometimes more, and does a fine job of boring the player as a result.

The music is great, the simple to learn but hard to master controls are fun, and the graphics ok, but the story is kind of boring.

Complete disappointment. I was obsessed with Turtles in time on SNES. But this game is simply......crap. Really sad.
