  1. 80
A deep, realistic brawler with intricate gameplay mechanics.
  2. The fighting is fun, but the presentation problems do get in the way just enough to become an issue.
  3. If you need a fighter fix UFC would be the place to go for Cube owners, boring or not it's pretty much all you've got for now.
  4. 67
If you're a die-hard fan or are looking for a highly technical fighter, it has some serious depth to offer. For everyone else, I highly recommend a rental.
  5. 60
While it isn't the defining UFC console experience, the career mode and two-player competitions are worth your time, especially when you've created and developed your own fighter.
  6. Like the difference between a fight in real-life (scrappy, brawling, inelegant) and a fight from your favourite movie (balletic, graceful, dynamic), buy this if you like to see two blokes battering each other into submission. If you like a bit of style, skill and excitement with your violence, don't bother.
  7. Nintendo Power

It's sorta quick and dirty, just like the actual UFC. [July 2002, p.148]
