Astronut's developers clearly understand how to design for a touch-screen device. All the menus are well-organized and easy on the eyes, as is the actual in-game art. I particularly liked the collection mechanic.
In short, this is a very well-designed game and one of those perfect "pick up and play" apps that is sure to keep casual gamers interested for a while. It's free (at least the first four levels are) so you have no excuse. It's almost launch time.
Astronut looks fantastic visually, with charming character designs and Retina Display support for 4th generation devices.
Astronut is a surprisingly difficult game to master despite its somewhat simpler origins and it's worth checking out the free version before making your final purchase.
Astronut offers a fun, fresh take on the high jumping genre.
