The real magic lies in the emotional attachment to the characters and the whimsical sounds and visuals that permeate every inch of the touch screen.

Bumpy Road's seemingly shallow gameplay might not net core gamers looking for some depth in their iPhone offerings, but they ought to give it a whirl anyway. The game may well drive off with your heart.

While some developers explore how to bring a console experience to the App Store, Bumpy Road by Simogo explores the short arcade-like experience to make something engaging and engrossing.

Such a simple game risks being hit-or-miss, but it excels at what it does.

Bumpy Road is one of the best purchases I've made on the app store. Not just because the gameplay has a hook unlike anything I've played on an iOS device, but also because it's got a fantastic aesthetic.

Featuring a fantastic control method, sweet music, and a terrific art style, Bumpy Road is as delightful to watch as it is to play.

Bumpy Road has great gameplay and beautiful graphics, and is one of those few games that can make the player smile.

Bumpy Road is a little light on content even for a $3 game, but what's there is finely crafted. Whimsical, melancholy, nostalgic, and beautiful, Bumpy Road represents a thoughtful approach to a well-worn genre.

While Bumpy Road is thin on content, it makes up for that with buckets of occasionally touching indie charm.

Bumpy Road is a lovely little, soothing game to play. Adding a storyline to an endless running game is a great touch and instantly makes the game that bit more endearing to players. For platforming fans, it's certainly worth the asking price.

Bumpy Road is one of those games which, like Tiny Wings before it, oozes charm and sophistication, yet comes in such a small budget package. It's proof that sometimes the simplest ideas have the most legs, or in this case wheels.

Blessed with overly cute graphics and beautiful music, Bumpy Road is a funny and easy-to-play arcade game which appeal unfortunately doesn't last too long.

As effortlessly charming as the beautiful art style is, Bumpy Road veers perilously closely to being style over substance.

Everything about this game is so beautiful including the idea, story, graphics and gameplay. This one had me at hello for sure. The game sees you manipulating the terrain of each level in order to get the best score possible. Creating hills by pressing either in the front or back of your car alters which way it will head. Tapping directly under your car will cause the car to jump. Now having read this you may be thinking that itâ Full Review »
