Nov 12, 2015there seems to be a lot of hate out there for this port (and the game as well) but I have to say I am really enjoying this on iOS. No the controls aren't perfect but it's the same story for other iOS ports of classics like chrono trigger, secret of mana and other FFs - they're worth the hassle to enjoy the game on the go. I also think people are forgetting how clunky the original game was. Picking out your way as a tiny polygonal blob through pre rendered backgrounds was never easy in the first place.
Oh and frankly the option to max out your stats and turn off random encounters is a godsend for people who really do want to play it casually. Obviously it's not as pure an experience but a lot of people buying this will want to relive the experience without sinking months into it.… Expand
