    The graphics look amazing on Retina screens, the artwork for characters and battle sprites is well-done, the music and voice acting is incredible, and the controls for combat feel much more intuitive on touch screens. The game is also pretty generous with giving you the premium currency at a steady pace, but you can also purchase more if need be. The story is fairly captivating and there are plenty of other modes to keep you busy for a while, and overall the game is great for both newbies and veterans alike.

    This is not the Fire Emblem you know, though the strategic fights, characters and bizarre music are still there. This is a game that seems simpler, but will make it for the long haul.

    The great controls and superb illustrations of the characters, as well as good sound don't make it up for the dull plot and repetitive gameplay. It's a good way to get in contact with the world of Fire Emblem, but will leave players wanting the real thing instead of this watered down version.

    Fire Emblem Heroes is a watered down version of the traditional Fire Emblem experience. While it’s completely possible to enjoy the game without spending a single cent, it’s designed with the pay to win model in mind so that spending cash will ensure a quick and fast route to victory. Coupled with the extremely aggravating and excessive stamina system, those trying to play the game for free will encounter numerous roadblocks and turnoffs. If you’ve never tried Fire Emblem before, this is a quick and easy introduction, but if any of its concepts appeal to you, you’re better off abandoning Heroes and jumping into any of the other great entries in the series.

It has a good history(no so deep like other FE but good enough), and you can use character for every past FE, and well that matter, specially for fans of the series. personally i don't like the chibi art style(big head and cute) but at least in portraits and conversations they look with classic art style.

    cons: not relationship between characters, no permanent death(if your hero dies you can use it later)    … Expand

There was no way a "gacha" game hooked me up so much. As a guy who can't afford to play all of the games in the series, this mobile game has made just wonders to my Fire Emblem saga knowledge.

    And it is not necessarily a pay-to-win game, since the micro-transactions... actually don't affect too much. This game is really generous on the way they give you Orbs and Feathers.

    Strategy is never lost and, of course, to build a hero you'll need a lot of patience... but it will be worthwhile.    … Expand

It will introduce you to the battle systems, weapon triangle, and hundreds of characters from multiple Fire Emblem games. You start with Alfonse, Sharena and Anna, and will eventually get orbs to summon heroes from multiple games, such as Marth (from Shadow Dragon), Ike (from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn), Roy (The Binding Blade), Chrom (Awakening), and many more characters. The best part about them is the fact that you can summon characters from the Japan-exclusive titles. And this just showcases a small portion of the HUGE Fire Emblem cast of characters. However, the energy system feels pointless, getting orbs gets harder the more you advance, obtaining good heroes is just SO difficult, the friend list is pointless, and the voting tournaments are very predictable. But the game has tons of replayability and adds new heroes and game modes quite often. It's free-to-play, so you can get it at any time, but you can purchase stuff in order to improve the experience. Fire Emblem Heroes is definitely worth it, but it's relatively weaker than the rest of the legendary Nintendo franchise.… Expand

    Probably the most DISGUSTING Nintendo title out there for iOS. I spent around 250 Orbs (which would cost more than 200euro if you bought them with money) and opened ONLY duplicate trash heroes. From the 250 Orbs that I gathered F2P for more than 6 months I only got 4 Gold 5-star heroes. The rest were all 3-star duplicate useless trash. From the 4 Gold Heroes, 2 of them were the same, meaning one is instantly useless.
