In the end, Harvest Moon: Mad Dash disappoints as a Harvest Moon game and as a puzzler. It definitely has some redeeming qualities but they're so minor when compared to the super-easy and humdrum gameplay that I simply can't recommend playing this silly spin-off.
Harvest Moon: Mad Dash is not a regular game in the farming RPG series but rather a puzzle-based game...and it does nearly nothing right. Dull, boring, plain, drab... Mad Dash doesn't do the least for the Harvest Moon series and it does nothing for puzzle games either. If it had a decent level of challenge, Mad Dash would have some worth to it but as it is, it should be left alone.

Summary Go on your own or take along a few friends in this fast-paced farming frenzy! Harvest, fish, milk, and more as you fulfill orders to complete each level, but watch out for molten lava, raging boars, and other obstacles! Can you and your friends try to clear all the levels to restore the broken lighthouse?
