It's not often we get to play a game like Kumo Lumo. It's highly original, rewarding and playful. Even the occasional rough edge (such as the repetitive character voicing) can't take the shine off what is an extraordinarily fresh direction for mobile gaming. A very fine start to the week indeed.
Twee and delightful, Kumo Lumo is a gorgeous game that shows how simple doesn't have to mean bland.
Simple and fun, Kumo Lumo delivers a solid experience, packed with a lot of levels and some nice, colorful graphics.
Kumo Lumo is one of the most innovative and entertaining titles to come from the Chillingo camp this year. In fact, it's one of the best from any camp. It's an utterly endearing and entertaining little title that perfectly suits the ultra-competitive iOS market and stands tall with any of this year's major releases.
Kumo Lumo is like a little bit of sunshine on a cloudy day.
As it stands today, Kumo Lumo is an adorably strange game that has stolen my heart, but not a spot on my must-play list. A rainy day game, for now.
Kumo Lumo may be a gorgeous game with a unique premise, but the slow pacing and always looming 'shop' detract from the game's otherwise friendly, air of casualness.
