Still, the payment structure doesn't get in the way of the raw, petrol-stinking enjoyment too much. If you're a funny of pointlessly gritty cop-bashing Fast and Furious nonsense, then this is well worth checking out.

Need for Speed: No Limits is a faithful mobile rendition of the long-running franchise. There are a few issues that prevented me from fulling enjoying the title, especially with the controls. However, for those searching for a way to take racing on the go, this title might just be the one you’ve been looking for.

So, should you download Need For Speed: No Limits? Well, it’s fun, and free, so I say go for it. Just be prepared to switch back to Horizon Chase while your energy refills.

There’s nothing wrong with Need for Speed No Limits. The game plays well on older devices and blazes on newer devices.

Need for game depth. Except for Nitro Rush there's nothing we didn't see somewhere else 1,276 times already. No limits is too limited.

Need for Speed No Limits applies many limits to the arcade racing game leaving it one to steer clear of despite the name recognition and good looks.

You spend your petrol on 30 seconds of racing and then wait a couple of hours for your tank to be refilled. “No Limits”? Is the title supposed to be a joke? [12/2015, p.74]

Pros: Graphics at day and night
    Car Customisation
    Fun Races
Events can give you free cars
    Fair Multiplayer

    Cons:
Sometimes if you don't come first in many races your gas goes down and you don't earn enough XP to level up to get free gas.

I actually just looked up Need for Speed: Nitro for the Wii to see side-by-side videos. Apparently, this game is a graphics upgrade, but a gameplay downgrade at the same time, and that's a real gosh darn shame. AG Drive is a downgrade from WipEout, sure, since it only has 3 vehicles and much less weapon variety than Sony's once-titular franchise has, but it at least challenges its players more than our run-off-the-mill "dodge the incoming obstacles as you gain momentum and speed" gameplay. I expected this game to be open world, since the PS2-ported GTA games, the Gangstar games, and Order & Chaos Online have proven that our phones are now more than capable of supporting an open world. Throw in the fact that this is made by the same people who made the first 3 Real Racing games and you know something's up.

Also, I've heard about this one publishing deal EA. You can read it here: http://goo.gl/uUNv9J.

I used to love EA for Burnout and was falling in love with them again after Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit in 2010, but come on, EA! We earn money, but we want to spend it only on survivalist's needs and long-lasting stimulants, not ephemeral gimmicks! Yes, this game is stimulating enough as a mere spinoff, but get with the times: this is not the era of the Gameboy Color. Smartphones are a hell of a lot more capable of deep experiences. If EA and Firemonkeys made this so we'd come and go at this game due to our busy lives, then that is at least understandable, but most longtime Need for Speed fans would consider this a casual game, a joke.

Long story short, as a minimalistic spinoff, it's more than a payoff. As a promising new title in the series that aims to bring roller-coaster thrills to dedicated fans, I'd say that this is really shabby. I'll at least give it credit for being oodles more functional that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, but No Limits is an example of why you don't release a graphically advanced smartphone racing game the same season that a new core title's going to come out.

    - ...dadurch extrem schwer an tuning Punkte zunkommen
    - ... bei höherem Level, dadurch Chronisch Geldmangel
    - ... in App-Käufe überteuert
    - was ganz unfaire ist.

Above this, all the strategy and progress in game are rotten by damn loot boxes, cheaters all around the place in Rivals, with unlimited gold/cash/scrap and extremely high overall difficulty level.
If you wanna play from time to time and stick to solo mode, have fun. If you play regular and try to achieve anything in Rivals mode, just give up, it's not possible most of the time, even with maxed out legit cars, none paid or stolen from the shop with cash. Pay to win and **** the skills, that's the idea...
