Absolutely amazing experience. Incredible experience with amazing, dream-like colorscape and a story that is more expansive than any adventureAbsolutely amazing experience. Incredible experience with amazing, dream-like colorscape and a story that is more expansive than any adventure game ever played before. Was absolutely blown away with expectations being just another shallow adventure, oh boy I was wrong. Expand

•I really dig the writing in this game. They make all the characters distinctive, interesting, real, and it just fits the setting so well too.•I really dig the writing in this game. They make all the characters distinctive, interesting, real, and it just fits the setting so well too. The story is pretty good but not my favorite part. I wasn’t like fascinated with what would happen next there, I was more interested in just talking to the different people around the city. They did this part really well.
•I like the way the game looks quite a bit. It’s not highly animated but it looks kinda great. The characters look realistic but also kinda cartooney and it’s all very pretty. I especially liked Lina, which is nice because that’s most of what we get to look at.
•There isn’t exactly a whole ton of gameplay other than choosing your dialogue, which is good enough. It feels like you have some real options and I don’t know what would’ve happened as a result of getting too many one or three star ratings but I didn’t have to deal with that thankfully.
•And then to do with the car is the money and energy management systems. Money is gotten through the cab service obviously but the only places to spend it are on hotels and on energy. Energy is used to make it to your destination and the energy stations cost different amounts. It’s kind of an odd way to manage things and it wasn’t exactly stressful because I figured the game kinda has it figured out for me, but it’s an alright enough addition.
•The music isn’t amazing or anything but for the fact that I’m pretty sure it was on repeat I liked it enough that it wasn’t a bother.

Overall: I liked it. I feel like it could’ve been a bit longer so it could be more investing and I definitely would’ve liked if it were longer, but its length is totally good. I enjoyed going through the conversations, which is obviously the most important part of the game, because the writing is really good and even great. Obviously some characters were a little more dull than others, but for the world they created it all fit together in a nice way. It never got a huge reaction out of me at any point though I’m not mixed about it in any regard, it’s definitely a good time, but I just don’t feel too strongly about it.
