Even though it doesn't set out to reinvent the wheel of physics-based racers, or serve as a visual departure from what the developers know best, Noble Nutlings is still a highly fun and highly quality title, and it shows that Boomlagoon have certainly set the bar high for themselves going forward.
Noble Nutlings is the kind of casual iOS game that's over way too soon. Not because it's lacking in content but because it's so easy to plow through everything in big chunks thanks to all the wacky fun.
Noble Nutlings is a fun racing/physics crossbreed, but the freemium system doesn't suit the game.
Angry Birds has nothing to fear from these squirrels.
A cynical, if predictable approach to monetisation also sours the experience.
Noble Nutlings does little to stand out in a genre filled with stellar titles, but that doesn't make it a bad game.
