Feb 21, 2017Overall, Voyageur is an ambitious attempt at a procedurally generated sci-fi interactive fiction whose lengthy playthroughs end up hurting it rather than helping it. There's plenty to explore and plenty to do, so it's worth at least one trip down the galaxy; unfortunately, you might not feel like going through it again after it's done.

For a game about exploring an environment as vast as space, the whole game becomes pretty familiar and feels really small after spending just a short time with it. As much as I love what is currently in Voyageur's package right now, they way it gets recycled makes it hard to recommend.
