Playing the big, bad boss was never so fun and amusing.
Even with the relatively short gameplay, WackyLands Boss is well worth the $0.99 asking price. The level of polish alone is worth the price of admission, and getting to pound the heads of hundreds upon hundreds of little human soldiers just puts the game over the top.
Stylish, fun and very rich in content. The combat system works well enough, and the special abilities allow us to add some variety to our offensive. Once we reach a certain level, things begin to be confusing due to the large number of enemies, and the controls don't always react as we could expect. However, this is an excellent game for its price and should not be missed.
Another 99-cent marvel from Chillingo. It's a fun (and funny) romp that puts you in the driver's seat of a towering monster, smashing up cities full of little heroes with giant weapons and devastating stomps.
In a somewhat refreshing twist you get to be the large hulking baddy in WackyLands Boss and with plenty of customization options it's hard to get bored before the end.
Charming in both concept and appearance, but its brand of button-mashing action is simultaneously simplistic and unwieldy.
WackyLand's is a beat-em-up that comes wrapped in an excellent package. The graphics are crisp and clear, the customization options are vast, and a few minigames included alongside the campaign add variety. My only issue with the game is the actual combat, which consists of pretty much nothing but randomly tapping and swiping as fast as you can.
