Though the 12 maps will become very well-known after spending hours in the game and repetition overall will start to creep in with players, some much sooner than others. It’s a small issue though in my eyes as the core gameplay here feels and looks great and it’s a game that can be enjoyed online with friends and the online community. The harder the difficulty and more waves adding, the crazier it gets. Players looking for a great arcade online shooting experience really need to look no further. Killing Floor 2 is here to please.
Killing Floor 2's strongest asset is in its simple yet effective combat--Tripwire could substitute the Zeds for robots or Nazis and still have a solid shooter on its hands.
My most played game on PS4, so I'm not going to rate it low :)
But seriously, this is a fantastic game and the developers really make an effort of doing regular events and adding stuff to the game. Since I started playing (around July 17), two bosses have been added, 8 new maps, a few new weapons and modes.
And the gameplay itself is very satisfying and can be tweaked to your liking and level with the difficulty and length filters.
So I can highly recommend this game to everyone who likes FPS, a bit of gore and great gameplay:)
Absolutely love the game, it's an amazing game to play with friends(or coop/pvp alone). The game though does take a bit of time to get use to, like the aiming, map such and such but once you get a hang of it, you will easily spend hours on it. The graphic looks amazing. Overall, it is an awesome game to play with friends or team up with online players, and best of all you get to create and play on custom maps! Loving it and really enjoying it!
Killing Floor 2 is a very good choice if you, and your friends, are a maniac with a weird lust to kill hordes of horrible monsters. Cooperative mod is challenging but not too varied while the competitive mod is funny but unbalanced. Know this and have fun.
For anyone happy with being dumped into horde-style arenas and expected to slam zombie brains across the room with a sledgehammer with a team of like-minded savages, it’s definitely one of the better options on the market right now. Players who crave more than just shooting might find that it doesn’t quite manage to deliver a captivating experience past this core competence, though.
Taking a shallow sub-mode from other games, and presenting it in a no-frills manner, might make for a competent and reliable shooter, But Killing Floor 2 also fails to be anything more than a diversion from other, better shooters as a result. It's utterly useless in singleplayer, and for multiplayer hijinks there are more creative examples out there.
From the inventive zed slaying weaponry to the blood stained walls and terrifying abominations this game has to offer this game has the zombie apocalypse setting done perfectly. The maps are all-round well designed and are not very repetitive, since there's a voting system at the end of the game. Another nice thing about KF2 is there's new free maps and other goodies, like weapons getting added every few months. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun co-op zombie horde slaying game. This game pretty much blows any other wave based zombie FPS out of the water and is quite a satisfying game.
This said the only bad thing i can say about KF2 is that the 2 bosses that appear on the final wave of each match do get quite boring after fighting them a few dozen times, but new bosses may be added in future updates. This game gets a prestigious 10/10 from me.
Fun to play with friends. I would not recommend you to pick 'Sharpshooter' as your main class however. Especially on the ps4 version. Compared to other classes it feels weak and lacklustre so beware.
Es una gran opción si relamente no tienes nada para jugar y quieres despegar tu cabeza matando mobs acompañado de heavy metal pero más que eso no hay. Recomiendo jugar con amigos, así es mas divertido.
I downloaded Killing Floor 2 free from PSN. It was not a game I would have bought but was willing to give it a try for free. It wasn't a bad game and for fans of the genre I'm sure it's fairly decent but for me I don't enjoy wave shooters, I find them shallow. It's basically Zombies from Call of duty, which I have played once or twice and didn't enjoy it. I don't like a game that is repetitive with no goal apart from surviving wave after wave of identikit monsters.
I cant be bothered playing longer to unlock more weapons and classes because I don't see a point in the game. Guns are overpriced and it takes hours before you can unlock more classes. The idea of spending time doing the same thing over and over is unappealing.
There are so many better games to play currently so Killing Floor 2 is pointless.
Positives:- Graphics, weapon variety, fun co-op experience, expansive maps, unlimited health syringe
Negatives:-
- Too many obstacles that you can't vault over and may get you cornered easily.
- Gets repetitive after awhile
- ONLY TWO F**KIN' BOSSES??!!!
- There's no quick select weapons so you have to mash the triangle button multiple times every time.
- Unable to make your own custom loadout.
- In-game currency and weapons earned/bought after each match don't carry over.
- No story mode whatsoever explaining how the Zeds come to life, where they come from etc.
- The entire game is comparable to the DLCs of other games (eg. Uncharted 4 survival, COD zombies, RE7 Nightmare DLC etc.)
