Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime reminds me of why I love video games, because it provides a unique and colorful journey to get totally immersed in that can be enjoyed with a loved one. Probably the most original game I've played to completion in the past five years.
Such a fun game. I highly recommend it to any competitive person who likes to have fun with their friends. I have been playing the game for over a month, and it hasn't gotten old. The only problem is that it gets a little stressful at times.
For the life of me I don't understand why some idiots would give this 2 negative reviews? Obviously they haven't played the game, just read the title and decided as (2 very mature 13 year olds) to give this a zero because it was pink and had love in the title. I've put in 15 hours with a buddy of mine and I have to say...I haven't had this much fun playing a video game in years. Run, don't walk to your console and buy this game. It's FANTASTIC. It's a solid 9, I'm giving it a ten to counter the ludicrous reviews.
Asteroid Base's Lovers In a Dangerous Spacetime turned out to be worth the wait, perfectly blending elements from space shooters with a bit of strategy and throwing in some entertaining co-op as well. There are times it can be overwhelming – especially if you're going at it single player – but it's still an adventure you can't help but fall in love with.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime isn't meant to be played alone. The game wants you to experience its trials and tribulations with a friend or loved one. The key is finding the right friend or loved one, because enjoying this game requires the right partner. Choose wisely and you'll have a great experience. Choose poorly and it's an exercise in frustration.
One of the best offline co-op games of recent years, with a wonderfully antagonist premise that destroys and rebuilds relationships on an almost minute-to-minute basis.
What Asteroid Base has done here shouldn’t be brushed aside: this is a game that feels like some real effort and soul was put into it, and the result is a title that is emblematic of everything awesome about the independent game development scene.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime tried for a bold experiment with its control scheme, and though this sets it apart from other similar games, it’s ultimately an experiment that needs to go back to the drawing board.
EN:
What a game! It's so much fun. A recommendation for everyone who loves co-op games. It looks beautiful, and the missions are great.
SRP:
Kakva igra! Tako je zabavna. Preporuka za sve koji vole co-op igre. Prelepo izgleda, a misije su odlične.
I don't care about the stress levels this game causes, but more about the beautifully friendship-ending moments.
When your friend won't co-operate and acts if they are deaf while you are trying to do everything. When your friend rage quits because you aren't listening to a word they say. When you feel like smashing a plate over your friends head because they turned the TV off in frustration.
The amount of moments this game has that kills your friendship almost make up for terrible gameplay. Well, if the gameplay was bad. The gameplay is ridiculed with traps and ways to die with many ways to strengthen your relationship somehow. 97.56789% loss of friendship, 2.111111% strengthen of friendship.
I recommend this game to everyone, but especially good-at-arguing people with loads of friends and also someone who isn't easily stressed and doesn't mind losing a friend.
SummaryLovers in a Dangerous Spacetime is a 2-player co-op micro-platformer set inside a neon spaceship locked in battle with hordes of space baddies. Players work together running back and forth between ship control rooms, manning turrets, lasers, shields and thrusters to rack up points and stave off a vacuumy demise. In mish-mash terms you co...
