Featuring an interesting story line, tons of levels, simple controls, and cool artwork, the only curse we found was the amount of space it takes up on an iDevice.
The only thing that I didn't really like about McGuffin's Curse is, perhaps, the controls.
Whatever platform you choose to play it on, MacGuffin's Curse is a fun puzzler with a surprising amount of depth thanks to its adventure-game inspired dialogues; challenging and amusing for gamers of all walks.
Over 150 well-designed levels means the player well definitely get value for money, and the werewolf ability adds a nice twist.
MacGuffin's Curse has top-of-the-line production values, but the gameplay can be a bit simple.
The game fares quite a bit better on Steam. [June 2012, p.29]
Packing in character from start to finish, MacGuffin's puzzle play ultimately doesn't entertain enough in its own right to enable the game to stand out from the crowd.
