Million to One Hero is a well-polished game in the “custom level creation” genre (is that a genre…well it is now). The controls are fluid and you’ll have to employ a lot of skill to finish some of the creations players can come up with. The level creation itself is pretty robust, though it would have been nice if some of the icons were a little bigger on the screen, and combining levels into a mini-adventure is a nice touch. If you’re a fan of 2D platforming and level creation, you’ll find a lot to do in Million to One Hero for a satisfying price.
PC community finally got a great game that offers advanced tools for level creation as in the Super Mario Maker franchise. Million to One Hero offers the ability to create your own stories and adventures and include dialogues filled with humor.
While it remains to be seen if it will survive a player lull, and whether new players from all walks of life will be comfortable diving into a level editor that, while packed with features, doesn’t know how to explain those possibilities, as it stands today, Million To One Hero is a solid time sink to get those creative juices flowing.
SummaryAn exciting platform game, filled with action, skill, wits and competition that hides a secret inside: A powerful editor that you can use to create your own adventures… and by adventures we don’t mean simple levels… We mean full campaigns, with their world map, NPC’s and your own unique story.
