NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is a pitch perfect update to one of the greatest stories ever told in the medium. Combat feels fast and fluid, much like players’ tears once they finish the game. The new content feels natural, magic is more useful than ever, and the reprised music and voice over bring the world to life.
NieR Replicant ver. 1.22474487139… is the perfect opportunity to experiment NieR Automata's prequel. An epic game with plenty of improvements.

Don't listen to the PS Plus kids with an attention span of 5 minutes, expecting god of war.
It's a fantastic game, brilliant characters, story and the best soundtrack any game can offer.
Best game I have ever played, absolute 10/10 despite it's slow start and mediocre gameplay.

I am not sure if this game is better than Automata but the story hit me even harder, some of the endings literally had me in tears.
Gameplay wise it is much better than the original but not on the level of Automata, the soundtrack is equally as amazing and the 3 main characters are extremely well written.

NieR Replicant is a game I won’t be forgetting anytime soon. Its story is fantastically dark, incredibly unique and told in such a fascinating way, while its mix of combat and exploration has just the right hints of Zelda that make it a hell of a lot of fun to play through. It has some repetition issues and shows its true age in some areas, but it’s a game I’d recommend to the first-time NieR players like myself as well as the Automata die-hards. I guess it’s time for me to finish that game after all.
Despite some dated shortcomings, this “version upgrade” is more than the sum of its parts. Novel design choices like camera and genre shifts are as impressive today as they were more than 10 years ago. Main characters are dynamic with their own interesting backstories, and the plot is as deliciously devastating as you’d expect. Nier Replicant might not convert players that were turned off by the original or Automata, but there are more than enough quality-of-life updates and story-centric nuances to keep longtime fans and new initiates coming back for subsequent playthroughs.
Nier Replicant 1.22474487139… gives the cult game a second chance. Technical improvements make the experience much better than the original without changing its essence, and new content nurtures Yoko Taro universe, although it didn't age well.
While not perfect, NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… manages to address the biggest flaw from the original game, which is its gameplay. After being fine-tuned and modeled after NieR: Automata’s combat, NieR Replicant feels absolutely fantastic to play. Fans of the original will also appreciate the new perspective that the teenage protagonist brings to the table. This game is the perfect entry point for newcomers and the definitive way for veterans to relive a truly iconic game.
Taro’s approach is of a restless rarity; he swaps genres as though trying to scratch an itch.
Muy buen juego que se merece que mas gente lo compre. Cuando juegas a NieR Replicant juegas a la esencia mas pura de Yoko Taro.

I think this game would deserve a 7'5-8 but I'm giving it a 7 because players tend to overrate this game. It took me 19 hours doing only a few quests. I might watch the extra scenes on youtube as I don't feel to play this game over and over, only to see a few new things. I continued for one hour after finishing the first game and it's not worthy to me (plus, what's with the lenght of Kaine story? Videogames are not books. It's just not the moment nor the place to do that). I also feel the influence of Evangelion on monsters, blood and drama. Not a must have game and not a game for everyone but it's a good choice if you like rpg with plenty of action. I also like to point out the good soundtrack of this game.

NieR Replicant ist purer Fan Service at it's best. Nach dem großen Erfolg des überraschenden Nachfolgers NieR: Automata, hat Square Enix mit NieR Replicant nun eine Remaster Version des Original NieR Spiels der PS3 Ära entwickelt. Neben verbesserter Grafik und Präsentation hat Square sich hier vor allem nochmals an Steuerung und Kampfsystem gemacht, damals tatsächlich die Spielspaßkiller, und diese nahezu auf das Niveau heutiger Action Titel gebracht. NieR hat sich noch nie so gut gespielt. Wenngleich dem Spiel natürlich immer noch sein begrenztes Budget anzusehen ist und Gameplay und Spieldesign ihrer Wurzeln in der PS3 Ära nicht abschütteln können, für Fans ist das Remake von NieR sicherlich die Erfüllung eines Traums. Aber auch Spieler, die NieR erst mit dem Sequel NieR:Automata kennen gelernt haben, finden im neu aufgelegtem Original NieR bereits viele der Spieleelemente und kreative Ideen wieder, die NieR so speziell und einzigartig im Japano Action RPG Genre machen.

La jugabilidad es relativamente mediocre. Los escenarios son muy planos, carentes de interés para explorar y se repiten una y otra vez a lo largo de sus más que repetitivas misiones. Las secundarias son el clásico ejemplo de cómo no hacer secundarias. Me he aburrido muchísimo. Me he acabado el juego la primera vez pero ni por todo el oro del mundo me lo acabo otras 3 veces para ver todos los finales.
Una pena porque el Automata me gustó mucho y tenía ganas de este, pero se ha quedado viejito.
