  1. Speaking of play mechanics, I can honestly say that I haven't had this much fun playing a game in a very long time. Not only do the controls harbor the utmost precision, but the camera has been refined as well.
  2. If you're not into platform games, it probably won't change your religion, but I can at least guarantee you that it's got a much lower crap-fest-purchase-risk-factor than any of the shiny new PS2 games you could drop 50 bucks on.

The graphics are unbelievable, the sound is fantastic and the game has so much replay value it just might be sitting in your N64 for months to come.

There's an awesome amount of gameplay packed into this cart. The landscapes are so huge it's a challenge to remember everything you need to do.
  5. Don't expect to jump in and then jump out of Banjo's world -- once netted, you'll remain til the end.

The levels in Banjo-Tooie border on being too large -- it's rather easy to get lost in many areas. The level design, though, is superb, and the visuals are top-notch for the N64.

The whole idea of platformer as scavenger hunt, though, has aged as well as a tuna sandwich left out on a hot California day. Sadly, this bear is starting the smell just as bad.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After finishing banjo-kazooie a lot of times i wanted to have the same experience again and oh boy here is banjo-tooie bringing the joy, the adventure, the music and the fun of the first game but on steroids, This game is huge and not just in worlds but in moves, things to collect, bosses, and my favorite thing in the game. All the levels are connected you can go from the first level to the 5th Or Throw and ice cube of the sky level to the lava level etc. Expand

Nothing was terrible, I have no complaints, the controls where solid, the story had that 1990's vibe, and god yes that music. There are more collectibles in this than the original which didn't impact the game as I strive for a lot of collectibles, and then anything more I could talk about already was, so thats all I guess.

I really liked the graphics and story and gameplay. The levels were great but sometimes it just got boring.

Larger minigames, Larger framerate issues, with all of that stuff it makes a great game. Besides framerate. And the levels are easy to get lost in blah blah blah. But it is more fun when going in open connected worlds. And HOLY BALLS this game is hard. At the beginning it is just like kazooie. But then it kicks you in the groin. Making you wish you had a walkthrough that was short. And this game has lots of backtracking to get more jiggies. But some of the puzzles are really fun and interesting. And the game hhas more in the moves department. Overall a good not great game 8.5/10 Expand
