When we look at History, and we learn about Wars, we see arrows on
maps, armies defeating armies, flags replacing flags. But it’s so easy
to forget about the minutiae within that. The farmer in the mountains
whose life was bounced between fascist regimes, before being
completely destroyed in their wake. A Painter’s Tale offers this
perspective with such an extraordinary lightness of touch, almost a
nonchalance, and is so much more powerful for it.
A Painter's Tale: Curon, 1950 is a small gem which, in addition to its indisputable artistic value, has the merit of dealing with the story of the South Tyrolean village with sensitivity and accuracy.
What A Painter’s Tale lacks in cohesive presentation and substantial gameplay, it more than makes up for with a memorable story of a lovely little town facing enforced relocation. Plus, you can even learn a little bit of real-life history from it.

Summary "A Painter's Tale" is an adventure game that tells the story of the tiny Südtirol village of Curon Venosta by mixing reality and fiction.
