Before any other developer even thinks about making another flight simulator, they should play this game and then ask themselves if they feel worthy.
An extremely flexible sim that really puts you in the middle of the flak at 20,000 feet. [Mar 2001, p.80]
Nowhere else in today's market will you be able to find a flight simulator with the boldness and keen utilization of detail shown by B-17 Flying Fortress.
What's so remarkable about B-17 is that it manages to be even more immersive for the player than even the most sophisticated dynamic-campaign-driven single-seater flight simulation.
A good-looking B-17 experience with a full range of different tasks to tinker with and some quick blasts of action all wrapped in a lightweight strategy envelope.
