Each class changes the game so drastically that when you grow tired of slinging lead in the alleys, you can always go spec ops or engineer for a completely new experience. The depth and quality here is just staggering, and you won't find a better multiplayer shooter on the PC.
DICE and EA have nailed it with Battlefield 2. I'm hooked, and you should be too.

Battlefield 2 is a fantastic online shooter, and possibly one of the best we’ve played. The attention to detail, the features and the fantastically designed maps combine to make a brilliant game.
A phenomenal game if it runs on your machine. While it is not exactly the dynamic battlefield that EA had hyped, it is one of the most enjoyable multiplayer first person shooters to come out in years.
There are only two things that keep Battlefield 2 from online perfection. The first and most formidable of the two is the terrible browser used to navigate the game’s servers. It’s slow, inaccurate, and downright frustrating at times.
An excellent step in the evolution of the series, featuring strong improvements to communication in action games while retaining the hectic nature of the combat so familiar to fans.
Battlefield 2 is a game that can offer tremendous amounts of online fun, but the effort required to actually get there is almost a turn-off in itself at times.
Мне игра очень понравилась, игра выглядит как будто она вышла в 2005 году! Графика очень хорошая, геймплей очень приятный, и игра выглядит круто, жаль в ней уже не огромный онлайн, радует то, что она хотя бы жива, я помню как веселился с игроками в ней, ещё я играл с начала на низких настроек, потому что я почти не знаю английский, потом в переводчике посмотрел, и узнал как максимум переводится, и я офигел, что такая хорошая графика! Лучше чем grand theft auto 5 на пк выглядит, в gta 5 вообще графика ужасная, battlefield 2 в 2 раза лучше графика, ещё в grand theft auto 5 выглядит как будто вышла в 2007 году, а battlefield 2 как будто в 2010 году вышла! Игра заслуживает хорошую оценку, рекомендую поиграть!

I like what the battlefield series is trying to do, but they have some issues. BF2 has way too many exploits. Hit-boxes come unglued when player's run around. Bunny hopping can make you immune to being blasted by an entire clip at point blank range. Often the game involved running this marathon across the game map only to die and start all over again. I did get some real enjoyment out of the game tho. The urban maps were a lot more fun to me.

Battlefield 2 is a good game,very fun with mods,is a awesome war game,but there it's just unplayable,the gun spread goes everywhere,units in the game could survive about 15+ G36C (or what gun is it) without getting a single hitmarker. Unplayable,do not buy

Dont buy it. It a great game sure .. IF you can play it. You gone wast time and get super Pissed off with all the punkbuster failing, connection problems, cd key gone missing. Maybe you get lucky and every thing works fine at first but there will be a moment is gone fail on you, its just a mater of when.
