Solid gameplay helps you stick around for more soccer jokes. [Issue#265, p.64]
While not quite able to deliver an arcade football experience worth sticking with, the quality gags make up for the low budget aesthetic.
The ruthlessly satirical writing, though, is in another league altogether. [Oct 2017, p.81]
Gameplay does not, however, keep up with the irony of production, and after half a dozen games you realize it's deeply limited.
A misguided attempt at parody, underpinned by a poor sports game by anyone’s standards.
