    In short, there are some burrs, yet Bloodroots succeeds in its twofold undertaking: to pay homage to the original title of Dennaton Games by packaging an "action-without-respite" with its own identity. Warmly recommended for those looking for a valuable, fun and at the right price indie.

    Before you saddle up to take on Bloodroots, you need to ask yourself one question. Do you like pain? The pain of being killed constantly while trying to time a perfect combo. The pain of having finally killed all the baddies, only to plummet to your doom because of a misplaced jump. The pain of being hit once and having to start that section of the level over again. Over and over.

    One of the most underrated and unheard of titles of 2020, what a shame as its also one of the best action fueled games I have ever played.

    It lacks a story that can hook you and the mechanics become repetitive and sometimes frustrating, boring shortly after playing it.
    It is a good game to play occasionally since in no time it finishes hooking.
    I would give it a 6, but the short duration and its high price 16.79€, force me to give it a score of 2, since the cost of the games cannot be tolerated compared to what they offer you.    … Expand
