Bohemian Killing is a game that will test your wits in an original and intelligent way, a truly unique product in the "procedural game" genre. Its only limits are the one of a indie production, so the graphics are not awesome, but they are good enough to understand what's happening.
An utterly original game, which is partially ruined by a rather repetitive gameplay, which suffers from the presence of hundreds of loading times, and other flaws. Still, the title has its charme, and it can be suggested to the players who love story-driven games.
I don't understand why this game has so mixed reviews. Did you all forget it's small game with low budget? Sure, graphics is not really good but... who cares? It's not about graphics, if you want to look at beautiful textures, go play Crysis. This is one of the most interesting games I've played for a long time. Many possibilities to conduct a case, many outcomes and everything has to be perfectly tied with time. Great idea, worth appreciating. It's not a game for blind clicking everything around. You have to think. 10/10 - great, FRESH game, finally. After so many copy-paste games, especially in AAA segment, it was a real pleasure to play something like that.
I studied law and must say it features great ingame content in terms of court/law issues.
It is very intriguing and interesting in terms of complete setting - Paris in late 19th century. I can see many references to real world, facts, real names etc.
First playthrough brough a guilottine for me but it tought me game mechanics and so I am playing for 3rd time now.
The game is not an easy "click everything" title and you should carefully plan your court strategy. With this in mind it gives you a lot of fun!
Bohemian Killing, with its unique plot and great artistic style, is a great experience for fans of murder mystery, however, it does seem to be a niche game targeting a very specific audience.
Bohemian Killing has a very interesting idea for a non-linear gameplay that crumbles under a ton of issues. It would work great as a free browser game and right now I can't recommend buying it. This adventure as an affair for one (not very engaging) session. Everything looks as if it was a demo, a part of something bigger but still unfinished. And it's a pity because you can clearly see the potential.
Bohemian Killing is the perfect example of a great idea which has been carried out in a terrible way. Poor mechanics and graphics and a lot of bugs that are an obstacle for this game.
It’s a short experience end to end which sprouted from a solid idea, but whose ambition far exceeded the capabilities of the developers. Maybe consider it if it’s extremely heavily on sale, but for it’s current price point you’d be much better served buying a good book.
Excellent game. Mini team created the game fresh and engaging.
Of course you can play by clicking thoughtlessly and be sentenced to the guillotine but the real challenge comes when we want to know all the possible endings. Playing only once again we discover more and more new opportunities.
Those who do not want to spend a long time the game does not understand the challenges. Great idea.
I love this Game! Best game and best graphics ever indi game. Getting used to this graphics is hard for me to play any other games on this generation. Low price games is good to me.
I'm not very satisfied with this game. It's not really a crap. Script was written on the good way to presents the criminal case. The story and the plot had the potential, but in the game You didn't feel the right climate. Bad graphics, stupid and easy controls, not really big area and not really many things to do in this game. It's short and really boring, not to mention about some bugs and still repeated annoying comments of our protagonist. This game's still the low level and will be not really interesting for many players.
it's kinda sad that this game would die like a good promising title.
This game is extremely boring, repetitive, and hard. The game does have good graphics, and an interesting consent, but the game play is extremely boring and repetitive and executed poorly.
