Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has proven to all players, that it doesn´t need Hollywood faces in the story to attract players, because it’s completely fine with its online entertainment. Call of Duty is definitely going to stay with us for a couple more weeks. [Issue#290]

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is really fun to play and the natural progression of the players is a fantastic motivator to keep on playing. I can really say that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 provides the best multiplayer experience in the franchise, and it’s not going to be a surprise when the next iteration is going to focus even more on this aspect.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, the fifteenth iteration of a storied Call of Duty franchise, blends old and new to put itself in the upper echelon of Call of Duty games. Despite its lack of a traditional campaign, the game impresses in plenty of other aspects. The newcomer mode, Blackout, puts a fun and compelling Call of Duty spin on the battle royale genre. Multiplayer's boots find the ground again and take me all the way back to my fondest memories of the original Black Ops. Although it's not historically my favorite type of mode, Zombies really kicks it up a notch, with more maps and customization than ever before (not to mention even crazier Easter Eggs).

Those who played the PC version of Blackout in the open beta already know that the PC version is not an awkwardly masked port, but a game that has been built entirely from scratch for this platform - from navigation through menu screens and gunplay to customization options that a PC player can expect.

Deprived of its usual solo campaign, Call of Duty Black Ops 4 looks more like a patchwork than a whole, tight experience. Nonetheless, its multiple game modes, among which the first AAA Battle Royale, have enough to offer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, in certain aspects, is a wonder to behold. The crisp animations, fluid movement, solid gunplay, and frantic action that has defined the franchise is here in its full glory. Losing the single-player campaign isn’t a big issue once you’ve tried and tested the different features the game has to offer. Treyarch made this bold decision, and Beenox followed through with creating a PC version from the ground up.

Black Ops 4 combines all the elements of pop culture in gaming and the ease of access the franchise has always offered into one of the best Call of Duty games to come out in recent time. However, the AAA asking price for a minimized full title is slightly unnerving, as the game cannot and does not offer a full experience.

The multiplayer maps are really balanced and blackout is the best battle royale out there right now. In fact it’s the first battle royale I’ve actually enjoyed. The lack of single player was a little disappointing but you can tell the development team really made up for it by focusing on the expanded zombies mode and battle royale. Also would like to say it runs great on PC. I’m using a GTX 980 which is a couple years old and I’m getting a steady frame rate above 80 fps at all times. Would highly recommend this. Expand

Black Ops 4 is literally Black Ops 3.5.

It's not innovating and not fun at all, here's why.

    1) It's now only on the Blizzard client which means they cut the user-base more than half. Why not release it on both Blizzard and Steam? No harm, no foul.

    2) $60. For $60 you get Multiplayer/competitive, Battle Royale and Zombies. Back then (years ago) we got, a Campaign, Multiplayer/competitive and Zombies. Now you pay more for less. They put all their development resources into Battle Royale so they skipped out on the Campaign.

    3) Battle Royale. 80% of players who bought Black Ops 4 are playing Blackout, the Battle Royale mode in this game. It's not a standalone game, not free or let's say $5 - 20 dollars, it's an add-on which means this tacked-on gamemode will die once the next Call of Duty comes out. Horrible business model. Did I mean it's unbalanced which it needs the standalone release for consistent updates?

    4) Remastered maps. The development team lost it's "soul" and they just recreate old maps and make them "new" in order to not make new maps. Back to the not being innovating.

    5) Operators. These "specialists" are basically Operators from Rainbow Six: Siege now. Back to the not being innovating.

    6) Server tick-rate is low which means locked FPS.

    7) Gameplay. Everyone is "squishy." You need to put 2 - 3 magazines into someone in order to kill them. Hardcore is best way to play for this type of game. If not, have fun going around a corner and someone camping it.

    Non-PC issue:
    7) No cross-platform, Xbox players and PlayStation players can't play with each other.

Blackout has the most garbage gameplay , everyone camps , i swear every game you die because there is some little **** camping in a corner. If in your mind sitting in a corner for 20 minutes = fun then go ahead and buy it. I already sold my account and bought Battlefield 5. Battlefield 5 is a **** masterpiece of a game , it looks visually increddible and the gunplay is amazing.

    More like Lack Ops.

I played the Beta for this game prior to its release, as i've done with each CoD, out of morbid curiosity and to confirm them as being not worth a purchase. Like each CoD before it since which ever the last good one was (which varies depending on who you ask, I'm going to say CoD 4, tentatively), it's a rehash of the same tired whack-a-mole gameplay that characterizes each installment, on the same old jury-rigged Quake 3 engine, the same awful netcode, with I'm sure what will be the same obnoxiously overpriced map packs, and the same sour taste it leaves in your mouth. And yet, each manages to be even worse then the preceding game each time, in this case by taking the already used and abused "character shooter" setup, providing even more ways to die to something you didn't see coming, and injecting, of all the half-baked dimwittery, a "battle royale" mode. They even had the unmitigated gall to not even bother adding a singleplayer campaign, the only part of CoD that was ever any real fun. Oh and for the diuretic icing on the **** sundae, there's microtransactions. And if the betas for WW2, Black Ops 3 and this game were any indication, the downward spiral persists to this day. The one for Infinite Warfare didn't even work. One of these days CoD will get so bad it will actually lose Activision a a lot of money, and then we can put this undead franchise back in the ground where it belongs.

Treyarch got to make good games, once. Anybody remember Die by the Sword?
