Modern Warfare 2’s campaign has always been one of the most praised story modes for the entire first person shooter genre. Welp, it’s back, better than ever. It could use some more innovative goodness here and there but the overall result is a gorgeous and entertaining campaign from beginning to end.
Playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is like jumping back in time, and it's wonderful. The gunplay, action, and setpieces of Modern Warfare 2 all hold up incredibly well in the modern day, though the controversial content feels more harrowing than ever. For nostalgia, and to see a piece of media from a very different time, Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is definitely worth the price of entry. A shockingly good Call of Duty campaign.

It does a great job at getting the blood flowing. It is a great remaster of the original. What makes this better than Modern Warfare Remastered is the fact that is was not sold only in a bundle when it came out. I personally appreciate that fact.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered is a welcome return for what many consider to be the franchises' finest honest hour. It builds upon the bombastic campaign with luscious new graphics and a selection of small changes that help make it more appealing than ever.
Often dated and simplistic,
there’s no denying MW2 delivers
a cinematic spectacle. The real
fun comes from Museum mode
and re-running with unlockable

Time has been kind to Modern Warfare 2. The resonance of this particular entry is demonstrated with heartfelt passion in Beenox' high-gloss, finely-tuned remaster. While the overall package is slim and the asking price no doubt steep for some tastes, there's no denying that MW 2's provocative and exciting campaign has aged like wine, an explosive roller-coaster still worth riding.
The campaign of Modern Warfare 2 is (if not the best) one of the best this franchise has offered over the years, and the remastering by Beenox is great. But the lack of any other mode is keeping us from recommending it at its initial selling price.
A competent remaster of a story mode that, while it still has the ability to impress, feels old-fashioned, shallow, and grossly overpriced.
it has so good graphics and compared with the old one this one has realistic physics and graphics

For this game i give it a 7/10. Im one of the people who are into COD campaigns and trophy hunting, which seem to be the only reason you would get this game, as it is missing the fun factor - the MP and spec op missions. Being this is a remaster of the campaign only as stated in the title and price of the game, i will say its nostalgic, but if you recently played the original before the RM like i did, the RM almost feels dated worse than the OG. Maybe pass on this one unless like myself you enjoy the retold story and trophies. The graphical improvement is there and nice but not much else.

I played MW2 straight after Far Cry 3 and MW2 was much better. It had better action setpeices and it had shooting mechanics that are the best in the genre. It was really addictive!

While I probably should have guessed that trusting the opinion of my 12 yo self about the quality of MW2 would end up letting me down, for some reason, I actually went into this port expecting a great single player campaign. Pretty stupid of me.
What I ended up playing was a short, bland, boring slog of a campaign which does it's best to smash every possible modern war cliche into it's 4-hour runtime. I couldn't tell you the plot because I would honestly just doze off every time a "cutscene" would play, bored by the tedium of listening to Generic Army Guy #4 talk to Generic Army Guy #8 over a global map. The characters aren't memorable, the locations, with a few exceptions, are forgettable, weapons feel weak and your teammates/enemies blend in with the background so often it becomes a chore to pay attention to what is going on during combat.
I don't know why I allowed myself to expect something from a CoD campaign but I was let down and that's considering I didn't even pay for it (PS+).
