    Super down level and bad multiplayer...No narrative and poor level design. I do believe that the game is made in rush and they can make games better.

    As typical, another Call of Duty game been butchered and removed all suspension of disbelief when it comes to historical accuracy. From Germans using Sturmgewehr-44 in 1942 Stalingrad to some girl running around like she's another Assassin's creed character. German juggernaught soldier's who guard high-ranked villains, inaccurate uniform and tank model representations for their times alongAs typical, another Call of Duty game been butchered and removed all suspension of disbelief when it comes to historical accuracy. It's not worth your money unless you desperately want to support historical inaccuracies and play some power-fantasy campaign. Multiplayer doesn't feel innovated compared to the previous games and the attachments with most guns are nowhere near WW2-esque to be believable. This game had alot of potential from the trailers, but was butchered and ruined by their simple and non-existant historical sources and writing. Zombies is not even worth mentioning as it becomes boring very fast, nothing innovated other than few missions you do and then jump into some portal from multiplayer maps that got changed over to Zombie-styled theme. Activision shouldn't get away with 60 bucks for this. Hope this helps someone save their money.… Expand

    Wokeness killed this game for me. Its a shame because underneath all the crap the mechanics are tight. Cant stand this woke revsionist trashcan. Its not even subtle. Absolute shame.

Characters talking without opening their mouth, Soviets using T34-85 tanks and AS44 rifles in 1942 though they appeared only in 1944. Japanese on the islands using german equipment. German boss-sniper who gets stabbed by Polina, stuns her and runs away instead of instantly killing her. And this is only a small part of what awaits you inside the game.     Over-all game experience is bad, games are slow and TTK ( time to kill) is way to fast. often you will get one tapped in foot with full hp.     The campaign is full of invisible walls, no real reason to explore the levels. Its basically close to be the same old WW2 story we have played though so many times. Will say the cutscenes, are good, like really good. The campaign is really short and you will be left with a feeling that you rather wants to play the cutscenes, then watch them...

    Graphics: Its like the game have three different types of graphics sometimes the game looks really good, other times a face of a human or dog will look like ****

    Multiplayer: The game is a Cod game... One new gun power level mode called "patrol" this mode is just a easy way to get gun levels, so you can use them in warzone... The game still has no focus on cooperative play, you are solo soldier running around, so dont expect anything from your teammates... in my opinion the multiplayer is worse in anyways... you will feel like a headless chicken running around and shooting in a room full of other headless chickens...

    Zombie mode is **** holy **** it suck's.... not cutscenes, no story, they removed aline gun, raygun and stormgun from the game mode... The mode it self is just three things you have to do... escorting a flying skull, havest dog tags and last thing defend against a blitz of zomebies coming out of the same holes... the zomebie mode is barebone nothing new...

    Call of duty vanguard is in my opinion a cheap cash grab... fast money for a dying company... but we can use the game for one thing. A reminder that we dont need a new COD game every year... We could wait five years and hope they would come up with something interesting and new... I have 95 hours in this game and i will never get them back... Dont do what i did and spend 95 hours in this game.....    … Expand

    COD as a series need to evolve or die,this game demonstrates it for Nth time aready,they literally lied about everything on their interveiws(like adaptive destruction) other then "so....we like movies,HOPE YOU LIKE THEM",but this is a GAME you need to PLAY not watch,and the parts you play it are full of crap

    Invisible walls everywhere, weird scripted scenes, weird and stupid enemy and team AI. Awfull 'boss' fights. The flying scenes are not really flying scenes, you almost have no control. Endlessly talking about 'project Phoenix', while you never get to know what it actually is... . Not worth the moeny.

HOWEVER, the sheer amount of bugs and glitches plaguing this game is appalling and unacceptable for a supposed AAA game. Attachments that don't exist which makes challenges impossible to complete, invincible riot shield glitches and so on. Therefore i cannot with good conscience recommendIf the game was working as intended, i would highly rate it as it has tight gunplay and good visuals.     What do you get when you mix a camping infested S**t show with a generic want to be Battlefield? Call of Duty Vanguard. You will never know where you are getting shot from, Time to Kill is way to similar to hardcore mode. Sniping is trash. I want my money back.

    once again terrible maps, it is impossible to control, you kill one you are killed from eight sides, return the level of the map designers who created Bo1 mv2-3

It would be more accurate to refer to Vanguard as a $70 expansion pass for Warzone than it's own entity. The ONLY selling point this game has besides carrying the franchise's name is new content for Warzone. Color us all surprised. This "game" more or less serves as a sandbox to level the new weapons you can use in Warzone.
    None of this should be a surprise, though. We all know Call of Duty's dev cycle is basically non-existent. How can they innovate with barely a year to develop the game? It's the same trap that's been killing Madden and Fifa for the past decade. But it makes hilarious amounts of money, so we will never get a Call of Duty that will fulfill it's potential. Easy, lazy money, because we all suck it all up year after year.
    What an absolute waste. With this dud of a game and Battlefield 2042 off to a less-than-stellar launch, Halo Infinite can't come soon enough. Maybe then we can all actually play a good FPS this year. Oh, did you also know it's Multiplayer is FREE?
    Please for the love of your wallet, save your $70 for something actually worthy of it. Buy some groceries. Get a fresh new pair of shoes, even. Just not this.    … Expand

    money is the only reason this game was made. high ttk, nerfed mechanics on porpuse (although built on the same engine), high time to shoot after sprinting, nerfed dropshots, map design full of covers, mounting, sbmm too strong again

    this game require zero skill and it's not fun

    Full sbmm, 0 innovations, campagne hyper courte et skriptée de partout, le zombie en dessous de tout, des annimations et des menus totalement repompés, graphiquement désolé mais c'est laid pour du fin 2021, bref ya rien qui va.

    Game is already flooded with cheaters. Anti-cheat is non existent server side garbage that has been by-passed for 2 years in warzone mw2019. RICOCHET kernal based anti-cheat is suppose to launch during the Warzone Vanguard integration. I wouldn't touch this game until then unless planning to purchase on console.

    Zombies sucks and cannot be paused in solo.
    Multiplayer sucks even more. Leveling weapons takes forever and they are useless without leveling. No enemy faction, so everyone has the same characters. OP shotguns and lmgs. Spawn system sucks. Cannot see and hear the enemy even without constant smoke from killstreaks. No dog kill animation, when dog touches you, you    Campaign is too short.

    Играть в это невозможно, куча багов, сюжетка максимально не интересная. Сетевая игра это вообще помойка. Игроки спавнятся у тебя за спиной (ПОСТОЯННО). Гейм дизайн ужасен, враги справа, слева, спереди и сзади. Строить какие-то тактики невозможно. Спавнишься, убиваешь 1-2 игрока, умираешь, опять спавнишься. Звуки стрельбы можно было сделать и лучше. Как у такой крупной и богатой компании,Играть в это невозможно, куча багов, сюжетка максимально не интересная. Сетевая игра это вообще помойка. Игроки спавнятся у тебя за спиной (ПОСТОЯННО).     Proč si tenhle patch říká nová hra a ještě k tomu neměly by se hry s novými verzemy zlepšovat a ne degradovat kvalita a témeř vše okolo. A inovace je pouze v garážích akcionářů.

    + finanční ziskovy model pro akcionáře (mužete to risknout) - jak je možné že niskorospočtové hry jsou temeř ve všem lepší jak tady ty každoroční výkaly (až na vyjímky) - delka hry - obsah hry - velikost    Proč si tenhle patch říká nová hra a ještě k tomu neměly by se hry s novými verzemy zlepšovat a ne degradovat kvalita a témeř vše okolo. A inovace je pouze v garážích akcionářů.

    This "game" - or should I rather say movie when I look at the campaign - is an insult to every gamer and a disgrace to the developers. The zombie mode which has zero content is an insult. The campaign is more movie than game and combines the worst of both worlds. Wannabe filmmakers meet uncreative and uninspired "game" developers. This is refusal to work (or actually the publisher Activision being malicious and stupid to give their developers only eight months - eight months is NOT enough to develop a game that needs 3 years to be made ).
    The only okay thing is that the movement is almost as nice as in Cold War, but only almost. And the diversity albeit very clichée, cringe and over-the top is a charming and nice idea, I guess, albeit with a completely botched let's say 'implementation'. Depth is lacking, pacing is non-existent. Story? What story?

    This game is scam. Avoid at all costs! The developers should change their publisher since obviously Activision doesn't care about their health nor about quality of their products and certainly not about their customers as well (except their money of course)    … Expand

    Played it while it was on free weekend, I liked the beta and was excited for the game, however when I finally got to play it I was unfortunately not impressed by anything the multiplayer had to offer, everything about it felt like it was just a re-skin for Modern Warfare (2019) same exact animations, similar executions, similar mag changes, operators (third time in a row btw), there'sPlayed it while it was on free weekend, I liked the beta and was excited for the game, however when I finally got to play it I was unfortunately not impressed by anything the multiplayer had to offer, everything about it felt like it was just a re-skin for Modern Warfare (2019) same exact animations, similar executions, similar mag changes, operators (third time in a row btw), there's nothing unique to it, if you wanna play something similar but better you might as well just buy Modern Warfare (2019). The game also forces you to only play certain play-styles, the only way you can compete in this game is if you wanna sweat and tryhard with smg's and bazookas.

    Then about the zombies, I never got to play zombies in this game but from what I've heard it's basically just a desperate attempt to copy Cold War's zombies, but even when given a simple task like copying and pasting something Sledgehammer has failed miserably if you wanna play modern cod zombies just buy Cold War or Black Ops 4 I guess.

    The 2 in 2/10 comes from Champion Hill being the only thing in multiplayer that actually feels unique and original to COD and that I have actually heard some good things about the campaign even tho I haven't played it.

    I hope next year's cod will be something worth pre-ordering. Oh and one last thing, the Atomic camo is the ugliest most piece of **** final camo in modern COD's, the only final camo that's uglier is probably COD: WW2's final camo.    … Expand

And what about a black soldier and a Russian in Russian uniform on a mission to Germany as if no Nazi will notice them is completely laughable. The only saving grace are the cutscenes. It's not worth your money unless you desperately want to support historical inaccuracies and play some power-fantasy campaign. Multiplayer doesn't feel innovated compared to the previous games and the attachments with most guns are nowhere near WW2-esque to be believable. This game had alot of potential from the trailers, but was butchered and ruined by their simple and non-existant historical sources and writing. Zombies is not even worth mentioning as it becomes boring very fast, nothing innovated other than few missions you do and then jump into some portal from multiplayer maps that got changed over to Zombie-styled theme. Activision shouldn't get away with 60 bucks for this. Hope this helps someone save their money.    … Expand

    The most atrocious and outdated piece of camping crap i've ever played. Enemy players were spawning in front of me. "No sound" skill is literally ruining the way to telegraph the threat, great against campers, but both of those thing are cancerous.

Wrong lets talk the multiplayer the mode that you’ll spend the rest of the time when finishing the campaign (or if you don’t play it all the time then)

    Lets talk multiplayer
    1.horrible spawns - this is the first game I played experience I spawn with 3 enemies behind me , I seen enemies spawn in front of me.
    2.dominations- like #1 it looks like sledgehammer don’t know how to program if enemies already spawn camping a base they should rotate your spawns to the other side giving you a chance to take other bases but no you can get spawn camp in an instant if your team mates can eliminate enemies soon enough for them get in position.
    3.explosions are like smoke grenades- I seen a lot of explosions and you can’t even see a thing because they last way too long so it’s annoying seeing this.
    4.Bad balancing teams- a level 1 all ready paired with prestige’s 3 really they all ready have good weapons with attachments and you’re not even playing with players with your level because you unlock the ability to edit load outs in level 4 so hey sledgehammer at least pair people with same level so they can level up first and unlock some things so they can defend themself with higher rank people. ( and im aware the battle pass has some weapons you can unlock that have good attachment but this is for people that don’t buy battle passes or can’t because whatever reasons but even that they should pair people with same ranks at least to get the hang of it.)
    5.new shipment- Horrible experience lets say spawn camp city look for videos you will see what I mean.
    6. Hackers- don’t need to say anymore this was the reason I stoped playing war zone in the first place.

    The champion hill mode - I should say its the one I felt more enjoyable becase here its competitive yes but I never gotten spawned camp or anything bad here for the moment But for me its good played in the alpha in the ps5 and still think is good.

    This is the last one I have and one of the most disappointing thing I seen I can even say even lazies thing and it is the operators - the operators you’ll get at random you need to complete challenges to unlock them that’s fine but the main issue I have is there are no opposing team of operators like heroes vs villains like other call of duty games this I mean because everyone can use the same operators if you have a separated operators sides then you can distinguish team vs enemies because if you run on to someone no many times you can see the red icon on the head to know if they are friendly or not, people can say look at the map to know but you know look away for a second it can be penalizing for the bad spawns.

    The reason I think sledgehammer are very lazy is because this people didn’t even made the engine so most of the work is already done they just did a reskin of a game so there is no excuse for everything I mentioned here (except for the #3 since its my opinion of that) they could have done a better job of the multiplayer since its the place where most players will be and honestly like I said they didn’t make an game engine so all that time they would had spend doing it would at least make the game fun but honestly it isn’t .

    So this is my opinion , I respect what others said as well but I disagree with many people thinking the game is 100% great when clearly it isn’t , even the game got a free week to play to try getting more players to the game but honestly with this issues I don’t recommend anyone buy this game from 50-70 dollars I don’t feel it wort that by the current state because this game is rushed beyond believe even after getting a head start with the engine .

    So this is my review thanks for reading , if you see the game free sometime play it every one has their own opinions , maybe some of the issues are fixed latter on except the operators since they where lazy enough to not create different sides, but hope of the others issues are fixed.    … Expand

    Zombie mode is bad. Sniping is absolutely terrible Maps are dope, gameplay is terrible. 2 gun metas. Campaign is utterly boring. Multiplayer has poorly level designed maps, they look good, but poorly executed and no passion on the multiplayer side.

    Time to switch to Battlefield 2042.

    Call of Duty: Vanguard maintains the usual high level of production of the Call of Duty series, with an excellent cinematic narrative that allows players to have an audio-visual experience of being in the battlefield. The online content is also excellent, the new zombie mode has many good parts, but the thin content makes it difficult to retain players for a long time. Overall, it is still a popular FPS worth trying.

    With Vanguard, Call of Duty returns to the roots of the series: World War II. The solo campaign is entertaining but short, and the multiplayer is exactly as expected: full of action and adrenalin. However, the few novelties are not spectacular enough to lift it above mediocrity.
