Solid game + hilarious translation + cheap price = MUST BUY.
Though the game lacks the kind of epic presentation that Ikaruga fans enjoy, the levels are still something worth looking at while you’re dodging unfriendly fire.
For what it is, Castle Shikigami 2 is decent and can be fun. It’s just a standard shooter and will most likely appeal to fans of this type of game. In other words, it won’t be winning people over to the genre.
This is your typical 2D, old-school, vertical shooter, but the price is right, and there are some cool nuances. [Dec 2004, p.78]

Summary (Known as "Shikigami no Shiro II" in Japan) The sequel to "Mobile Light Force 2", as it was know in the Western territories. The game plays like a traditional shooter in the style reminiscent of "Ikaruga," It enables players to control flying humans instead of ships.
