    One of those indie diamonds that pop up every once in a while, and manage to speak right to our souls. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience.

    Chicken Police: Paint It Red is a gorgeous looking film noir style game that takes everything you love from the classic buddy-cop movies and mixes it with a huge cast of anthropomorphic characters. The story, voice-overs and adult humour are great making this a must play.

    A very special point and click visual novel, Chicken Police is the perfect hard-boiled detective game you always wanted, just populated with animals. Atmospheric and funny, with some fantastic writing and voice work, Chicken Police is one of the best indie games of the year.

    Chicken Police: Paint It Red is a thoroughly engaging detective romp. The investigation elements, like the interrogations and clue linking, are fun in their own right, but the rest of the package proves to be quite enticing. From the story and atmosphere to the characters and dialogue, this is a strong adventure title with a compelling film noir style. For adventure game fans, Chicken Police is a must-have.

    Everything Blacksad: Under the Skin did ineptly, Chicken Police does perfectly. This Hungarian visual novel offers much more than I expected: a feast for eyes, a great duo of detectives, polished and varied supporting characters, and a story that treats social issues (e.g. systemic racism) seriously.     There’s a lot to love about Chicken Police. Clawville is such a unique city and I wish I could spend more time there getting to know its history and its residents. Sonny is a dark but quirky protagonist and he’s a pleasure to step into the shoes of. It’s a mature title with violence and cursing, however, so don’t let the cute animals fool you. If you’re looking for a engaging detective story with a very distinctive flavour, Chicken Police should be the top of your list.

    The world of the Chicken Police does not disappoint, even if the detective noir story at its heart is predictable. Fantastic character and voice work make for a compelling ride nonetheless.

    What a great game! I saw the trailer for this a week before the release and it captured my interest. The game Nior style with animals is veryWhat a great game! The game itself is a detective point and click with a 1930's jazz soundtrack. The character interactions and dialog is funny and has great banter with hints at history and backstory. Every new screen is filled with mystery and you have to play to see what happens next. I highly recommend Chicken Police if you want something new to play or if you enjoy point and click games. The voices of the actors match greatly to the overall environment. Storyline was well written too.
