    Choplifter HD is a remake of the successful classic helicopter game from 1982 – so our expectations were pitched quite high. Unfortunately this game is far from meeting them. The repetitiveness in gameplay and its non-compassionate presentation make it, in our opinion, nothing to recommend.

    The tactical implications of saving people while keeping an eye on the fuel gauge are interesting. But you'll lose interest sooner rather than later, thanks to the frustrating design.

    Return of the classic in 3D high definition misses the spirit of its predecessor and after a few missions the game turns routine... [Feb 2012]
