The game's plot-twisting story, addictive game play and bevy of single- and multiplayer options makes this an excellent addition to your CD-ROM collection.
OK, so it's not a quantum leap forward in gaming, but so what? It's a heck of a lot of fun from the company that defined RTS.

Not only one of the best games that Westwood has ever created, but is easily one of the most entertaining, visceral, and tactically focused RTS products ever seen, and will likely be remembered as a true classic for years to come.
Solid and extremely stylish (if unrevolutionary) RTS gaming.
While not totally original, it's got enough intensity and excitement to have even the most jaded real-time strategy gamer glued to his computer for hours. Death to the American dogs, comrade.
Red Alert 2 proves to be one of the finest offerings in the C&C series.
Red Alert 2 can be both fascinating and bewildering, neither of which amounts to much when you are launching a tank rush in multiplayer games.

Hmm. Fun in drunk company, but totally dumb at all. Im confused).
5/10 is between 0/10 for RA1 ruining and 10/10 for nutty fun).

This game is awful and I love C&C games. I love Tiberian Sun, I loved Tiberium Wars, all be it not as much as Tiberian Sun. Red Alert 2, feels like a dumbed down version of these games. To me its just tank wars for multiplayer, and the single player bored me to death. 0 Would not buy.
