"It would have been wonderful to see this team’s giant imagination expressed through the subversion of, rather than adherence to, well-worn puzzle platform conventions, but perhaps that is just plain greedy. It is, after all, such a treat to find a gorgeous narrative game that owes nothing to the culturally prevalent aesthetics of Disney, Marvel or Studio Ghibli. While the puzzle construction at the heart of Creaks is formulaic, that should not be a disincentive to give this short, singular experience a try. "Those small flaws don't detract from what is a great little puzzle game, though. Amanita basically has a perfect track record when it comes to its different releases and Creaks does not break that trend. It certainly is something new for the studio that longtime fans may not immediately gel with, but those that have a love of the weird and creepy will find a lot to admire in Creaks." ... On the negative side, it is very short, repetitive, and has no depth in the story or characters. I mention this because it was a missed opportunity but I understand how difficult it is to develop a game. Definitely don't miss out on this one. I love all of Amanita Designs’ work.

After you pass the first 4 or 5 scenes you basically get the idea and it can turn boring if you are used to a lot more action. The controls are very simple. I wouldn't say it is easy, but it is not that hard for the average puzzle gamer, which is the main demo in the first place. It managed to keep me playing for 6 hours straight until I unlocked everything. It is very short. I wanted to see more in this universe. There are some secrets that add nothing to the plot or the game and only slow you down. If you were just to play the actual game (without the movies), you would finish it in under 3 hours. Honestly, it has no replay value in my book. Unlike other Amanita Designs’ work like Machinarium. I remember I used to play that game over 6 times.

Красивые, живые, загадочные интерьеры, очень приятная музыка, которая еще подсказывает, что ты на верном пути решения.
Головоломки сделаны интересно и их сложность хорошо сбалансирована, но используемые в них механики довольно однообразны и могут быстро надоесть.
Сюжета как такового почти нет, герой просто переживает приключение. Хотя к такому формату я был готов, учитывая что и в прошлых играх Аманиты сюжет не играл ключевой роли.
В целом приятное атмосферное путешествие в необычный мир, но не хватает разнообразия в геймплее.… Expand
