When a horde of zombies start filling in the room and you start backtracking, the experience falters occasionally. But otherwise, Dead Effect is a shot to the brain, right where it counts the most.
If you're a fan of violent, bloody, horror themed games, you'll find a good distraction in this one.
Bottom line, it's a good start to what should become an even greater experience in the months ahead. Zombies in space? Sure, why not?
A mindless shooter is just what the doctor ordered, every once in a while. This should fill that prescription quite nicely.
Dead Effect is yet another first person shooter with zombies, with some very good graphics and a pretty lengthy campaign, but also some issues with controls.
Dead Effect is an adequate sci-fi zombie shooter with some control and design issues.
Dead Effect is an uninspired first-person shooter that does nothing original, proving most memorable for its hilariously awful dialogue.
